Vancouver 2012 Closing Ceremonies: Brought to you by the cast of Glee.

I stand behind my posts. It's implied racisim that is grounded down to numbers and nothing more. You base it on an opinion peace by someone who doesn't like the winter games.

It comes down to values. If you value the sport, you spend money on it. Period. If you don't value the sport, you don't spend money on it. Period. Countries like China value the games and send athletes.

least now all these stupid sports will go back to obscurity where they belong.

Winter Olympics suck @$$.. half the events are nothing but demonstrations of momentum and have more to do with tech then sport....

They should rename the winter games to the Rich People With Mountains games.
Because that is all the winter games is. I mean i don't know many schools where you can take curling or luge .

Summer games = no real equipment just god given gifts that anyone can compete at.

Winter games = unless you have money , equipment , and live near snow you could care less about these sports.
You wouldn't be making these stupid ass posts if the USA won. So stop ****ing b****ing and go cry in a corner.

The USA have a great young team with some up and coming stars (Kane, Ryan, and Parise, although he is Canadian blood). Congratz to you guys on a great performance. It was an awesome game !

You set the record for most medals in a winter olympics. We set the record for most golds. Win-win.

Also, I hereby officially denounce these closing ceremonies. On behalf of all Canadians, I'd like to apologize for Avril Lavigne.

The Canadian people have already apologised for Bryan Adams.

(or is it Celine Dion?)

It's okay, William Shatner cracks me up everytime, so I'll forgive the rest.

I must say...that Gold Medal game was a bittersweet moment. It was sad seeing the US lose when they were so close to pulling it off, but I was really happy to see Sid and Flower get gold medals. It made it a little easier to stomach the loss seeing Sid get the GWG. I was so happy for him. He's such a ****ing stud....such a clutch player. Ovechkin was probably watching in disgust.

I love so much of the music coming out of the rock scene in Canada right now (Arcade Fire, New Pornographers, Broken Social Scene, Wolf Parade, Feist), so it's just sad to see Avril and Nickleback given your national stage.

North America FTW Ha!I'll tel you what...
In the world we live these days, Canada was probablythe best place to hold the olympics.
I'd definitely feel safe there, as Canada is one of those countries with few known enemies if any...

Although our pile of medals is higher than your pile of medals...

Speaking of medals, I heard the medals are not solid gold, but gold-plated. Didn't they used to be solid gold????

No wonder the medals are so dang big, they look like saucers. I realize gold prices are way up, but still.

US and Canada each had their best olympics ever.

Russia...not so much, which isn't going over well there since 1) this is the sports event they used to dominate and 2) they host the winter games in four years.

Can you imagine the US president calling out the olympic team and threatening to fire people because of a poor olympic showing? Well, that's what happening there. Crazy.

^5Damn right!
Beautiful country Canada is man. I loved Montreal and Toronto when I went to visit.
I didn't like the fact that I got to experience some -35 degrees temperature during Chritsmas time. Man, that was brutally cold!

If they used solid Gold they wouldn't have enough medals. There just isn't enough Gold in the world for that.

The medals are 92.5 silver. The last pure gold medals were given out in 1912.

Speaking of Silver medals. lol Here is my dog Mojo (right) and his buddy Rotto (left) wearing silver medals. Mojo is still in shock about bringing home the Silver for the USA!

Actually they belong to Johnny Spillane who won 3 silver medals in Vancouver. He also happens to be a Colorado native!

Atta boy Mojo!
