i give the guy credit this year, he had a great year and even though he threw the game losing INT, the vikings dominated that game. peterson is as much a problem as he is good at this point, and cost them the game with his fumbles.

You think Rex Ryan is some genius?

IMO, the NFL is a joke. They let the OL hold, can't touch beyond 5 yards, rules are competly differnt now.

Yeah, I coulda been damn good at DC, or OC.

But even better as HC.

Next question?

He didn't play with anything broken.

Steve Duchesne lost 3 teeth in a hockey game when a puck hit him in the face, he missed half a period while they stopped the bleeding then came back and played the 3rd.

Steve Yzerman played 22 playoff games with a knee he couldn't walk on that required realignment surgery after the season.

Compared to what a lot of athletes do, playing with some bruises is nothing. I bet if you take a good look at Knowshon he looks like that too after a game.

Olandis Gary played the whole second half on a torn ACL.

Not sure, but I think he played on it the rest of the season.

So much for "power blocking".

I like Brett Favre. But it's interesting to me that the last pass he had last year was also an interception. I thought that had to stick in his craw a bit in the offseason. Wierd for it to happen again.

He wouldn't have thrown the interception because he plays a conservative game but more importantly he wouldn't have been in that game. That's it. Favre got the Vikings to that game and almost won it. I don't believe Orton has it in him.

The 'ole gray mare ain't what she used to be....

I wish we had an enforcer like Bobby McCray on this team (DUI aside). He jacked Warner then Farvvere in consecutive playoff games. Changed the entire dynamics of each game.

When is the last time we had a player that could step up and do that when the game was important from a DL position?

I don't think he finished the game. I think Anderson had to come in but they did win, it was vs ST Louis and I rememeber watching the ESPN crawl on the bot of the screen and thinking that they would have a lot of trouble replacing him. Anderson had a great year in the end.

He will never answer my question about the Vikings fumble or the gimme INT that the viking player dropped twice on same play in overtime.

He's quite selective in his responses, even though a very slim percentage of his responses actually contain anything sensible.

Dude... Adrian Peterson fumbled twice within ten yards of the Saints' endzone. There were bad calls in that game, but AD left 6-14 points on the turf in a game that went to overtime.

Broken teeth aren't THAT bad. I've broken my front teeth out a few times and it's not nearly as painful as those injuries in the photos would have been.

Brett Favre annoys me, but he's a f'n trooper to be sure.

His last pass as a Packer was a interception too.

Favre has blown his team's chances in many playoff games with INT's.

Dumb INT's, and yes that last pass as a Packer was a dumb INT, same situation as his latest, on a game-winning drive and he throws up one of the dumbest passes of the season.
