There's warm air and no Broncos training staff, he should be ok.

Oh yeah, good way to look at it. I just hope no one notices that he can only catch the ball if he stops and turns around first.

http://blog.denverbroncos.com/denverbroncos/2010-pro-bowl-day-one/

On a beautiful day in South Florida, the AFC squad took the field first on the opening day of practice for the 2010 Pro Bowl.

It was a day that was just as much about getting acquainted with new teammates as running drills, and the loose session included plenty of laughs. Some of the loudest came from Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco, who not surprisingly spent much of the morning trying to get a rise out of the crowd of high schoolers who watched the practice at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

At times it almost looked like a regular Broncos practice, as five Denver players took the field — Champ Bailey, Ryan Clady, Brian Dawkins, Elvis Dumervil and Brandon Marshall. It was a typical affair, as Bailey matched up against Marshall plenty of times, and Clady found himself blocking Dumervil on a number of occasions.

Some of the odder sights of the day came on special teams. First, Marshall dropped back to field a few punts — nothing too out of the ordinary — except the kicks were coming from Ochocinco. Later, Marshall took a few turns at long snapper, sending the ball back to Baltimore running back Ray Rice, who punted a couple deep balls. Some of the blockers on the punt team included Dumervil, Dawkins and Titans quarterback Vince Young.

If any Broncos fans were in attendance, things might have seemed a little backwards. Clady took his snaps as the starting right tackle, as Cleveland’s Joe Thomas lined up at left tackle. The reasoning? Most likely the fact that Thomas has been elected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons in the league — he gets to exercise a bit of seniority.

So while the practice was about joking around with some of the AFC’s best, Bailey said he knows the group will get down to business as Sunday approaches.

“You want to come out here, have some fun and take advatange of the opportunity to play with some of these elite guys, guys you watch throughout the league,” Bailey said. “It’s a good thing to build camaraderie and build relationships, but at the same time we want to win.”

Maybe say that he "lost" his helmet and has to wear say, a Ravens helmet during the game?
I remember how I believe Emmitt Smith got his helmet stolen and had to wear someone else's helmet lol in a Pro Bowl.

I am a huge fan of the Pro Bowl. I just focus on the Broncos players all game long. It's fun to watch see them out on the field with their Broncos helmet on.

My favorite was in 1990, 1991 and 1993 when Dennis Smith and Steve Atwater roamed the secondary together.

Are you kidding? No one cares about pro bowl outisde of did said FA player get injured to where it screws his offseason and possibly season.

Marshal can get 10 balls, 0 balls won't make a difference. GMS have already decided what his value is, they just haven't let on yet.

People who expect a blockbuster deal for Marshal are kidding themselves. If we get one first round pick we will be lucky.

More likely ends up a decent player and a 2nd round pick.

some sort of sign and trade with marshall. Any team who parts with a 1st and 3rd is crazy IMO. Why do that when rookie wr having so much success in the NFL?

I'm kinda warming up to how they have the Pro Bowl setup now. It gives all fans something to look forward to in the upcoming couple of weeks. For all the teams that didn't make it to the Superbowl, at least you get to see a few of your players. It kinda takes the bitterness out, lets you look forward to the upcoming season and draft-- plus you get to see some football.

Maybe the Pro Bowls will be better, because each one of those guys wants to be playing next week, they might take it out on somebody.

How many rookie WR's out there catch 100 passes a year with 1300 yards and 7+ TD's a year?
Shoot if I were Baltimore I would severely look at sending a 1st for Marshall.

You may get a first for him I could see that. But remember a team that gives a first also has to give a big contract to Marshall. I think teams will be afraid of Marshall and 10 million dollars to spend etc. He may not be mature enough to handle it.

As far as rookie war numbers I think quite a few hit his yaardage and td numbers. Marshall not very good at the deep stuff which is why he is a possession/YAC type player. He's very good at it but a lot of teams don't want to give money to a WR who doesnt catch the ball well over his shoulder or run past people.

Mcfoneco you are right though. Tough running team, tough defense, seems like perfect place for a player like Marshall. Ravens make a lot of sense and may be one of a handfull of teams that places a high value on Marshall. He's a chain mover and with a good running game he can be deadly.

Yeah teams love giving money to rookies that have proven nothing over guys like Marshall. So he isn't the fastest WR and he can't run past people but he sure the hell runs through people. WR's get paid to move the chain and Marshall does just that.

It'd take too long, 26 clips to edit is time consuming! And that's just 2009!

All the talk about Marshall. Throughout the year, V. Jackson from SD had a better season than Marshall and, tough to say, should have been in the Pro Bowl instead. I have been a proponent of trading Marshall for some time. Maybe it will finally happen. I just don't think he will mature enough anytime soon to make him worth the risk.

How did he have a better year? V Jack has had his run in with the laws as well, but because they are DUI's instead of crazy ass girl friends looking for money it's not as big of a deal.

Its against the law to slip on a McDonalds bag now? How about Jackson getting pulled over hours before a NFL game? Real smart to be driving around with a suspended DL with expired tags on your car.

Stat wise how was Jackson better? I'm certainly not saying Jackson is a bad WR by any means but how was his year better then Marshall's? Leaving out the QB's to compare the two wouldn't you say that Jackson's system that he plays in would allow is yards per catch average to be much higher then Marshall's? That was the only stat that Jackson was much better then Marshall in. Everything else was close besides catches which went to Marshall.

It is simply a pattern of behavior that ranges from idiocy to being outright illegal. The fact that other people have done stupid things as well is no defense. The fact is Marshall has a history of these issues going back into college, and there is ZERO reason to think he is done making bad decisions. Other player may make a mistake or two as well, they are dumb for it, but they will not be judged like Marshall because he does them habitually.

Slipping on a McDonalds wrapper should be illegal? I guess V. Jack should get a pass for getting busted going to work with no DL and having expired plates then because he has only had a couple run in with the laws. My bad. I doubt he could find anyone going to the game anyways to give him a ride.

If you can't see the difference between V. Jackson having one run in with the law in his 5th season in the pros and Marshall's countless acts of recklessness spanning his entire career back into college, I'm not sure if you can be helped.

I shouldn't say dropped it could have been a plea agreement

I hope your right but I don't see Broncos getting a lot for Marshall. In fact after we tender him I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 0 offers. I think teams will wait and see how things go. If they know there is no way Broncos can bring him back they will start lowballing.

We don't have to just let him go for nothing. He is ours for at the very least another year if we don't like the deals being offered to us. If we get 0 offers for him big deal. He is a top 5 talent.

I wonder how Marshall acts if that is what happened. It could become quite toxic. I think a trade off the team happens after or if he gets no offers he wants to sign.
