It didn't. I still keep a Bible next to my bed. :)

Seriously, has the gov. ever tried to ban a book? I know there are books that some people want banned from their local libraries, etc., but has the fed gov. ever tried to ban a book?

The closest thing I can think of is the publishing company in Boulder, CO that publishes manuals on how to kill people or make bombs, I think that publishing company also publishes Soldier of Fortune... is it Omega Publishing?

I mean, shouldn't the gov. go after this company for helping terrorists? I know the company has been sued in the past but not by the feds, I think they are still publishing those darn manuals...

well considering the law the obama administration cited was in 2003, and it was the very first year they were in power, having never faced an election after bush being in power the rest of the time.

tell me why the obama administration asserted its right to ban books in front of the supreme court if they never ever intended to do it? and explain to me how it's totally ok for a government to think it can ban books and we'll just wait till they actually trample our constitution to do anything about it, even though they said in front of the highest court in the land that they had the power to do it long before?

Because Obama's administration is a platform based on bigger government, blatant socialism and limiting the people's ability to free speech.

Seriously, it's an Obama thing...

I assume that's sarcasm. but it still doesn't answer the question. why did the obama administration stand up in front of the supreme court and say "this law allows us to ban books."

Because the Obama admin is owned by corporate lobbyists! Seriously, why else would they scare the SC into erasing a law that has done much more good than harm?
