I have a serious problem – but I am not going to stop for 18 months – in fact, I am going to triple my alcohol intake. The only way to cut back later is to increase my drinking now.

Obama’s speech on “freezing” spending is just as stupid, insulting to thinking Americans, and is as just as insincere a notion as the above statement.

His actions are the only thing that matters… as MASS seemed to communicate.

I don't understand why you and the rest of the righties on this board aren't happy with Obama. After all, he's basically just a "kinder and gentler" version of George W. Bush. He's surrounded himself with the same "save the billionaires" crowd you guys defended to the bitter end when Dubya was president and your party was in power.

To be more accurate, after drinking three times as much in order to "freeze" your drinking limit later, you agree to do it only on "discretionary" drinking. You won't let you decision touch the rest of your drinking. So, it's like saying you're giving up drinking but only on Tuesday mornings.

Yeah. If he was Sarah Palin, he would announce, "I'm quitting so I can go make a bunch of money."
