OO MAN I live in New Orleans, and when the Saints made that interception and Field Goal. THIS CITY WENT CRAZY! Now let me clarify I bleed blue and orange with all of you, but you couldn't help but cheer for the Saints that game. After the game, It was truly an unforgettable moment to see ppl of all races, creeds, ages, and differences pour into the street giving each other high fives, hugging, dancing, partying, and even crying together throughout the night. Ppl literally we out partying (even cops) ALL NIGHT!! Truly a remarkable sight to see a group of what the NFL media considers a group of "NFL refugees" and late round picks uplift a city of people (who has been through so much since Hurricane Katrina) of what the Political Media considers a city of "refugees"!

THIS IS HOW IT LOOKED 3 A.M. IN THE MORNING!!!

And that was not after the game like the topic says, that was actually 3 in the morning. The city is literally shut down, schools are empty, offices are pretty much shut down. I had to take up my Denver hat (that I wear to work almost everyday) off that day lol.

I was born in New Orleans and went to Saints games until I was 5 and moved to Denver. It was good to see them finally get over the hump, and it certainly is a great story considering all that has gone on there.

Too bad they are gonna lose to the Colts. I guess the league might step in and have the refs skew the game, but the Saints really have no business being in the Super Bowl. Get the bags back on your heads where they belong. :)

That says it is after the Giants game and I saw a couple giants jerseys in there. Anyways I bet the party was bigger than that all night long and probably still going.

I was getting ready to say that. That scene was after an October game against the Giants...

I can verify that because I was in town that weekend, the place went wild.

Had to have been 500-1000 people directly outside my front door by Lucys until 5 this morning. Bigger than any Bacchus night.

Great time. Awesome energy last night\morning. This City now is in non-stop party-mode for four weeks, through MG on Feb 16th.

Archie is pulling for Peyton:

What happened in New Orleans last night reminds me of what it was like around her when the Broncos beat the Raiders 20-17 to go to the super bowl for the 1st time.

Isn't NO one of the last NFL teams to have never played in the Super Bowl? I'm only rooting for them because they are representing the South and that I can't stand the Colts.

I think all that's left are DET, CLE, HOU, and JAX.

That's what it looks like Chief/San Diego fans.

Big props to New Orleans. Love that town.

If the Saints win the Super Bowl, will Bourbon Street look any better than it did after Katrina?

But seriously, congrats to the Saints after all their years of wandering in the wilderness.

And as for Archie choosing to root for the Colts, that just proves again the old saying that blood is thicker than (swamp) water.

Bourbon NEVER looks great after a party.

However this town has put on a lot of parties. Mardi Gras. Final Fours, Sugar Bowls, LSU National Championships and so forth.....and they have yet too riot and trash the City (beyond an idiot or two jumping on a car). I would be beyond shocked if you saw it happen if the Saints win the SB.

I'm really glad San Diego picked the wrong QB.

They'd have won a Bowl or two by not.
