Brett Favre needs to go away forever, with one less Lombardi in his trophy case than John Elway.

GO SAINTS!

It does not happen often....but I actually don't mind any of the 4 teams left in the playoffs.

I am probably rooting for Indy over the Jets....but the Jets are a great underdog story.

In the NFC, I am rooting for Minnesota....but it would also kick ass to see New Orleans go to the Super Bowl for the first time.

I can't stand New Orleans or their silly french chant.

I'm rooting Vikings. That team deserves a Super Bowl win in same way the Broncos did after losing so many.

For AFC I only want the Colts to win if it helps make the Super Bowl a crazier game but they lose it.

Vikes can't complain about penalties. Turn it over 5 times (and almost lose it a couple more times) and you have only yourself to blame. Minnesota was probably the better team, but you just can't make that many mistakes in a championship game.

Favre's INT was a thing of beauty and a microcosm of his career. Dude has blow A LOT of big games with his idiotic play. That pick was quite possibly one of the worst plays I've ever seen in a championship setting, especially since he had a wide open receiver about 5 yards down the sideline and could've run with having a timeout left. Instead, he had to be "RAWR I'M BRETT FAVRE THE GAMBLER IMMA GONNA MAKE IT HAPPEN". That pick was just sweet, sweet music in so many ways.

And yet still almost won and came up on the short end of two questionable calls on the game's final drive.

I thought that both the Saints and Vikings sucked today. The Vikings did everything to give the game away, and the Saints did nothing to take it. The Saints won the turnover battle by four turnovers and they still had to go to OT. Hell, they were lucky to even get to OT. What kind of two minute offense was that that the Viks ran? It was horrible. Why did they run it on their first two plays, and why did they run it down to the two minute warning? It was like they were playing for OT. Then when they got down to the 35 yard line they acted like they were already in FG range. Why did they run it on first and second down? A couple safe passes gets them inside the 30 and into a very makable game winning FG. Instead they're in 3rd and long, and then get a penalty, knocking them out of FG range. So now Favre has to go down field, and gets picked. If they had passed on 1st and 2nd down then they wouldn't have been in a position to have to go down field.

The Vikings out gained the Saints by over 200 yards, but they kept turning the ball over. They just gave the game away. If they don't turn the ball over they win that game by 2 scores.

I can't root for the Saints in the Super Bowl. The way they played today they don't deserve to be there.

What? Saints played it close to the vest, but lets not forget, the Vikes have a very good D-line. How many sacks did they get? The Saints played pretty mistake free and if they had only fallen on a couple of the fumbles instead of trying to pick it up, it could have been different the other way by two scores. They got lucky on the pass interference call (though it could have been illegal contact) but got hosed when they got the unsportsmanlikes on Favre.

Their bend-dont brake-get turnovers D reminds me of Denver in 97. Got pressure on QB, got some hard hits and turnovers, but gave up yards.

I don't buy that at all. The Saints Forrest Gump'ed their way into the Super Bowl. They didn't play a good game at all. They are lucky that the Vikings pretty much did everything possible to sabotage themselves, and the Viks still almost won. That two minute offense was pathetic in the 4th quarter, and they still almost pulled it off. Horrible play calling killed them at the 35 yard line. They should of had an easy game winning FG attempt, but they worked themselves out of FG range. And all the turnovers. The Saints have a four turnover advantage but they were on the verge of losing the game in the fourth quarter. How does that happen? How were they not up by two TDs.

You said that if the Saints had fallen on a couple fumbles they would have been up by two scores. So a four turnover advantage wasn't good enough, they really needed a six turnover advantage?!?! The Vikings did everything to throw that game away and the Saints did nothing to take it.
