“Raiders Football at it's best -- Supposedly, Tom Cable wanted to bench Russell, but crazy Al says no. so Cable gives Russell a DVD one day and says "check out this weeks game plan and get back to us". A day or two later, Cable and Davis are talking and Russell walks by. Cable says "so what'dcha think of the gameplan?" and russell says "looks good coach, I'm on board". cable looks to al davis and says "we gave him a blank DVD". at that point davis signs off on the benching.”

Hahahaha. That is great. Russel is a punk that could care less about playing. He got his pay day and that is enough for him. Sad. Some guys just don't have the fire. That's why guys like Dawkins and Lynch, and even Romanowski are so unique. They are willing to do anything to play, even cheat in Romo's case!! haha

considering his draft position, the fact the he held out, then the amount of money he received, he may be the biggest bust in NFL history.

Something even Ryan Leaf couldn't do.

Leaf had his best game against the Broncos.

I remember him and Conway tearing up and down the field in 2000.

Thank god for Frerotte's record setting performance.

The planets must've been in some sort of weird alignment that day.

Definitely giving Ryan Leaf a run for his money! Ha!
