OMG, you and Popps are unreal. You two are addicted. I don't think rehab would even help. Go for it dude, it's what you're good at.

You figure out what you're saying and let us know.

I'm saying that it's fuggin' goofy to quit being a fan over a coaching change and an 8-8 start to the new regime. It's ridiculous. Ridiculous doesn't even do it justice.

He spent 100% of his time bashing this team anyway, even before McDaniels was here. So, he left. Good riddance.

What's the problem, there?

What's your point, exactly? More fans should bitch, moan... and then switch teams?

Guys, don't argue over me.

I founder greener pastures. I have peace now.

my blood pressure has gone down, and I'm just living the Redskin dream.

my advice: find your inner traitor.

I see a pseudo Atlas has arisen! The real one was last here on the 3rd of Jan.

Just chose you that he left the day Shanny was canned. He never gave the team a chance. It was all about the coach and not the team. Raider fans stick around for much worse. If anyone has a reason to abandon their team, it is Raider fan.

Yes, but they show Raiders games in prison. So what are they going to do? They're kind of stuck.

All I know is that someone who can go and make friends with a poster named 'Timmy I'm the world's biggest bag of douche Smith' and cheer for the redskins never was a Bronco fan. Its just not possible.

If I got so fed up I couldn't cheer for the Broncos I would cheer for no team or stop watching the NFL all together. You can hate McDaniels all you want but you are still a Bronco fan.

I'm a fan of the TEAM. Not a player, coach, owner or whatever else. When one of those things over rule the team you stop being a fan of the team and become something else. Maybe he can go buy a cool Shanny T-shirt or something

The funniest part is he's going to a team that hasn't won a Super Bowl in an even longer time than us... plus they got fat men dressed as pigs for fans.

That said I will be "interested" in how they do next season only due to Shanahan, his kid, and Turner being there. More or less like I was with the Bears this year. Though I won't give a **** if they win or lose like I did with the bears.

I don't know how anyone can switch loyalties after years. I couldn't do it if I tried for ANY of my teams. To sit down and root for another team would feel so ****ing fake and shallow. Just weird ****.

Atlas will be back. He'll look around at all those dopes in pig snouts and old ladies gardening bonnets and go, "Man! I've made a horrible mistake. Where's all my old buddies in their yellow and brown striped socks? This is the franchise of Joe Theisman, for chrissakes! It's almost the same color as the ****ing Chiefs! Arrrrrrrgh! And oh no, it's Slowik!!!!!"

He'll be back.

No he wont. He'll look at their outfits and think they're HOT, and become the newest HOGGETTE.;D

I honestly am not convinced that Atlas is serious about his allegience change. He wrote that he expects a great season from the Skins next year, predicting a record of 7-9 to 9-7 and maybe fighting for a playoff spot.

Isn't that exactly the season that Denver just had?

explain to me how my logic is wrong in that people do not need to come here and constantly b****, but your logic that its ok for people to come and try to destroy any sort of football conversation by turning everything into why mcdaniels sucks is ok?

MORON--that is in a thread entitled........ wait, wait for it

FIRE MCDANIELS!

With rationalization skills like those, it is no wonder why you cannot see the wayward direction that McGenius is taking us.........

Ouch, before this past season even started? Maybe I'm wrong about giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I cannot fathom a scenario that would have me quit a team. Don't get me wrong, in the heat of passion right after a bad game I've said I was done with it...but an hour later I'm chugging orange Kool-aid again.

It just doesn't make sense to me.

Everyone deals with adversity in their own way. Atlas is dealing with this adversity his own way. Too bad he jumped ship, he was a good poster for a long time. Oh well...

However, he's gonna find out that getting the Broncos out of your blood is not as easy as it seems. Sure, he'll get some satisfaction out of rooting for the Skins and Shanny because they are going to be Broncos East.

That being said, he'll be back. The Skins's aren't the Broncos, period. If I was a betting man, I'd wager that if the Broncos make the playoffs next year, Atlas will be back. He may not have the poster name "Atlas" but he'll be back.

Good point, but he has Shanny on his side.

I am not a big fan of teams leaving cities. In fact, if the Broncos fled in the middle of the night from Denver, it would end my fandom.
