Who else would find it absolutely hilarious if NYJ turned around and beat the Bengals and Indy in the playoffs after they let them walk in?

I would really enjoy it personally.

I think Jets will Play SD. It will be difficult for Jets to beat SD in SD

Jets are the lowest seed in playoffs, thus they will play Indy, if I'm not mistaken?

Mark Sanchise has more Playoff Appearances and Wins than Cutler, lol

Defense wins championships and they have a good one. They have also spent alot of $$ on the Oline with Foneco, Ferguson, etc. They have dominated Cincy on both offense and defense in their house.

My mistake..you are correct..If NE wins, Jets will play Indy.
If Ravens win, Jets will play SD.

4 of the 5 O-line for the Jets are 1st round picks, they better be able to run the ball and protect the QB. Also, I wish we had hired Ryan as HC.

Rex Ryan is a good coach. Much better than Mcd.
He made the defense number one in the NFL.
Our coach doesn't understand how to coach NFL players.
He will be fired after next season. Hopefully, Bill Cowher will be our new coach.

lol it must be nice to have the type of experience Rex Ryan has. lol @ people here all sudden talking good about Rex when he publicly said their playoff hopes were OVER.

Hind sight is nice.

Jets walked in the playoffs when they were able to play second stringers in 2 of their games. Bengals obviously had no care to even play (their starters didn't give a damn).

However, it would be nice if they beat Colts or SD.

Good coach, impressive defense for sure. But they finished all of one game better than Denver, largely thanks to a gimme at Indy. Not sure how that makes Ryan a great coach while showing McD doesn't understand NFL players.

And considering how much you rip Josh for having too big of an ego, I can't begin to imagine how you would stomach Rex.

Sanchez didn't screw up.

That has been the difference for them lately. They've done a good job on offense of giving him few chances to make a big mistake and letting the defense win the game.

Something is up with Carson Palmer... he looks a shell of his former self. Not sure what's going on with him, but he sure doesn't have "it" anymore.

Yeah, he looked like Orton.......well, except for the playoff game.

Another demonstration of the importance of a physical offensive line, a running game, and a QB who takes care of the football.

And a Defense!!

Forget about the record..I was impressed with how they are number one defense in the NFL. Mcd should be offensive genius..Yet, he doesn't know how to call plays in NFL..His play calling on offense sucks.

Rex has ego..Yet, it doesn't impact his players. In Mcds case, he shows his ego on his players.Thats the difference

Offense and defense are two completely separate entities you can't start comparing for improvement from one season to another like apples to apples.

You sound like an idiot anyways.

The Jets methodically built their team (Mangina wasn't a total idiot) - they spent numerous high picks on Dline and Oline (some hit, some didn't like Gholston), brought in Jenkins, got lucky with Revis, and then moved into the skill players getting a guy who might be a franchise QB in the next few years. If they get a guy like Dez Bryant or CJ Spiller and Sanchez can limit the picks and mature, they will contend with NE to be the top team in the AFC East. I wish the Broncos would adopt this approach.

Im not really a jets fan but I have family who works for them so they are my defacto second team. And yes their team had a decent D with a very talented O-Line before Rex Ryan got there. And I doubt that they will look at Spiller since they have washington coming back from ir next year and they just sent a pick to Cle for deep threat in braylon edwards. my guess is they will add some depth @ lb as their rush lb spot hasnt been great they drafted vernon gholston from ohio state a few years ago but that hasnt panned out so I could see a pass rush specialist as their no.1 choice this year. But all in all this team is going to be good for a loing time they are fairly young and they will advance with sanchez as he gets better so will the team.

 OC for the highest scoring offense in NFL history. Yeah, zero clue how to call plays in the NFL.

Whether he can get his system established and successful in Denver remains to be seen, but our offense being mediocre in the 1st year in the system (along with a new QB and sketchy o-line) is hardly damning evidence of his incompetence.

Based upon his comments, it seems that McD is trying to head in that direction.

Let's hope so.

Their defense got them into the playoffs and helped them win that game today. They had a rookie QB who made rookie mistakes but looked fairly good tonight. I'd say Rex did one hell of a job maintaining that D and keeping his rookie positive through the season . That's why I hope McD focuses on the defense this off season and doesn't pull a Shanahan panic by going offensive while putting bits and pieces on the defense.

Well, I always think that the success of NE is due to Bellicheck.
Thats the reason i didn't like the hire. I didn't like his play calling and the way he treated Hillis, Marshall and Scheffler..He never utilized Royal and Scheffler in Passing game.

Not sure they would go after a guy like Spiller. They have a player with an identical skillset in Leon Washington. If they want that type of player just keep him on board.

I think they'd love to get a Dez Bryant, but I don't think he'll be available. I think more likely is a guy like Golden Tate who should go right around the mid to late 20's in this draft. Another guy they may look at is Jerry Hughes, the DE from TCU. He looks to be a pretty good fit and would provide some good pass rush. I don't think there are too many WRs that will have instant success in the NFL in this draft... but then this year kind of showed that you can get quite a bit from a rookie WR so maybe a guy like Brandon LaFell would make sense. Good receiver, good size and if there is anything WRs from LSU do better than most, it's block downfield...which only bolsters the Jets running game even more.

The team I'm afraid of most in the playoffs are the Jets. They seem to be a team that would match up well against the Chargers. They're the best running team in the NFL and that's where the weakness lies with the Chargers defense. And their defense could very well be able to shut down the Chargers passing game.

I'd love to see them go to Indy next week and beat them though, supposing the Patriots win tomorrow. The fallout from that would be priceless.

Yah, I think the Denver D really hurt the team most of all down the stretch. The O certainly wasn't gangbuster enough to overcome the D's troubles, and the ST's didn't contribute much either, but Denver really needed the D to play better.

Jeez it was sickening to see NYJ's get a playoff win and Denver sitting at home after that choke job down the stretch.

The Bronc FO has their work cut out for them getting a little better players in. I can see how having another year in the systems will benefit all phases of the team, so I have hopes in that regard. Also, some of the rookies like Ayers, Quinn, Phonz, McKinley I hope can step it up.

Then there's a full load of draft picks that hopefully the staff can get some impact from. When does that coin flip take place to see if Denver gets the 10 or 11 pick?

Why it would get smoked by a good passing team. It didn't take long for teams to figure it out when Chicago used it.
