It's pretty obvious there will be changes on the OL and staff.

JMFMcD wants to run a more smash mouth, power running type of offense. Which available coach best fits what McDaniels wants?

Joe Pendry

From which team? Or is he currently unemployed?

From the looks of his resume, Pendry can't hold a job longer than a year.

I'm not sure I want to rent an OL coach for a year.

Dennison is going to be the OC for the Texans.

Joe Bugel is the current O-line coach with the Skins...but Shanny is going to want the Zone block. So I think adding the Hog to the Denver staff would be huge!

The Bills let go of Sean Kugler...

I'd just look at the power blocking teams and would guess their Asst O-Line Coach as a cheap possibilty.

I'm surprised "The Coach" doesn't want this role for himself.

It was "the line's fault" they couldn't run his plays.

Eventhough the players weren't physically capable of doing it consistently.

Bugel is retiring from football, and if you had watch the skins in the last 6 years you wouldn't want him.

Go look at any line coach from Ohio and you will have your next position coach.

To be fair they've had a lot of injuries coupled with a dearth of talent on their OL, particularly recently.

Hire Tom Cable once he is canned by Dirty Al.

To be fair, Bungle is vastly overrated. His claim to fame is having big fat guys in era when NFL didn't have a lot of them. When the league caught up he struggled and hasn't produce a good line in long time.

McDaniels will one up Shanny by hiring his dad as O line coach

You seem to be defending the linemen and then go on to say they couldn't do it...well. That is their fault. Either they can or can't do it. They can't.

very true....he was immortalized for the Hogs but has not done anything since then. Name one OL he molded in his time in AZ or round 2 in DC....

I'm liking the idea of Joe Bugel, if he's available. Maybe he could bring Randy Thomas (who I think is a UFA) with him to join Logan Mankins!

Joe Pendry

While the Crimson Tide rolled last night, Pendry is not going anywhere.

OL coach Joe Pendry: Received a raise to $390,000 from $360,000 and had his contract extended through 2/28/2011
