It'll be a while.

IIRC it's done during some some event (week of the Super Bowl, sometime during the Combine, or during the owners' meetings), I just can't remember which one.

That would be better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick :)

FWIW, last year it happened at the owners meetings...

I read somewhere on ESPN that we had 10 already...?

I would like to see.
Suh
Sam Bradford
McClain
Gerald McCoy
Dez Bryant
Eric Berry

In that order. I think there is a strong possibility we will get a very good prospect with the 10th pick.

difficult to say which way they'll mover with the pick, but there could be good value at ILB, NT and QB if they want it (I'm thinking McClain, Bradford, Claussen, Cody, Dan Williams). I'm hoping Berry and Bryant will be gone so we won't be tempted by their talents.

Cody is not going to be a 1st round pick in April, can we please stop pretending that he's a legit target with Denver's 1st?

And hopefully we can get another #1 when we deal Marshall. take one of them and move down and end up with 2 #1's and 2 #2's. This will make me a happy camper.

I wish people here would stop saying they hope we could get SUH because it's not going to fricken happen. Not even a chance. Forget it. Talk about somebody else.

You have to admit there's a divergence of opinion on him. Similar to Tebow in that regard (as to where they'll go in the draft).

We aren't getting rid of Marshall either. Sorry to wake you from your dream. You don't trade a beast of a WR who is a probowl WR and a matchup nightmare who has only played 4 years in the league and just entering his prime for an unproven pick. Wake the F up dude.

And then build the lines! Two of Williams, Odrick, Dunlap in the first. A guard in the second. The rest is gravy.

You kind of have to if he quits on the team. I like Marshall. If they paid him when he was first asking, he would have been a model teammate. I don't believe he deserved to be paid at the time due to off-field issues, however. But I know going forward, he is going to engineer his way out of town.

He'll be a model citizen publically to maximize his value, but he'll let management know what lies ahead if he's isn't traded before training camp.

Anyone have a list of the rest our picks for this year? Are we just a pick a round? I can't remember after all of this craziness last year.

IIRC we're missing a 5th (LeKevin Smith) but we have an extra 7th, from the same deal. I think.

They traded a '10 pick back to the Pats though for Hochstein, which I would bet is one of those 7ths.

I remember we got a 5th round pick for the Cowboys for Montrae Holland when we traded him. I think it may have been a 2010 selection... not really sure though.

It was, but to Detroit (???) for the pick they used on Brandstater last year or New England this summer for LeKevin Smith.

And you must be one of the douchebags that thought Cutler and Shanny were going to be in Denver for life. Buy a vowel dumbass and start watching press conferences and reading the papers/net and see what in the efff is going on.

Not sure if this is accurate...

Per NFL.com there will be a coin flip between Denver and Jacksonville to determine who gets 10 vs. 11.

We traded a 5th for LeKevin Smith and the Pats 7th, and then traded that 7th back to them for Hochstien.

The other 5th we had for Montrae Holland we traded, IIRC for Brandstater.

I'd like to see them trade down for a couple later first round picks and get both Mount Cody and a big time left guard.

NFL Draft Scout has Cody as a 1-2, and the second to last one at that. Their 1-2s include Colt McCoy and Tebow. Unless the Jags take Tebow in their attempt to save the franchise in Jax, those 2 aren't 1st round picks either.

The other 2 have been sites I've never been a fan of, so we'll agree to disagree on that one.

I think come April there is going to be a very happy team that takes him early/mid 2nd. He plays 2 downs, that's not going to warrant a 1st round selection when all is said and done.

I don't disagree with anything you've said. I'm not asserting that he should be or will be a first rounder, I'm just saying i've heard him touted there. And I'm not trying to vouch for those claims either.

I agree as a 2-downer, he'd have to be very good to go top 25. FWIW, Wilfork is usually a 2-downer in Belichick's defence. You just can't play a NT 60 snaps a game and expect him to have anything left in the 4th quarter.
