last two weeks starting:

21 receptions X 8 = 168 receptions
282 yards X 8 = 2,256 yards
2 TD X 8 = 16 TD

I could easily see 12,000 career receiving yards and a HOF nod for Gaffney.

Jabar = Peyton = Jack = Domenik = Quentin? I think so. Let's do this thing, OM.

Could Derrick Johnson be voted to the hall of fame after one career game?

2 int in one game X 16 games = 32 interceptions in a season = hall of fame bound

Come on, Bronco!

You know damn well those stats are so skewed.

Kyle Orton

436 x 16 = 6976 = HOF

No. He's not capable of producing results like that consistently. He benefited from being our only option in a game where we threw the ball 56 times. If we have the same starting lineup Week 1 next season as we did yesterday, all hell will break loose.

We should offer the whole team plus the stadium for Jamaal Charles. Heck, throw in the city as well.

259 x 16 = 4,144 yards

The idea of Jabar Gaffney as a #1 receiver in Denver catching screens and slants from Kyle Orton makes me want to forget about going through the frustration of watching Broncos games next year.

Throw the ball to ME enough time per game, and I make the Pro Bowl.

Gaffney looked like a solid player when given the chance yesterday. The problem is he has been miscast all year, and Orton can't read a defense and go through his progressions quickly enough.

Ideally, it should have been Marshall and Gaffney lining up on the outsides at WR, with Royal at the slot along with Stokely. Instead, McD had them reversed and it eliminated the impact they both had.

It's a mute point anyways... Orton is probably told to find his #1 option, throw the ball if it's open. If not, check down the HB. He can't go through his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options in the pocket because he isn't very good reading a defense and the windows close too fast for his average arm to make the throws.

McD tried his best to not put the pressure on Orton this year... when he had to (yesterday, against the Chiefs), we saw what happened. 3 INT's, 2 returned for TD's by a very poor defense.

Orton is average. Keep him at QB, and we'll be average. Hence why we're 8-8 and watching 6 other teams play this weekend.
