ayers body slam was straight from old school WWF

yes how awesome was it to give them extra yards on a crucial drive

my God, have we really fallen this far?

Yeah personal fouls are totally awesome!

We don't have Marshall anymore and we had an EPIC faid down the stretch but how about that personal foul after a 20+ yard run.

Charles would have gained another 15 yards on the next play anyway

Maybe next time he can hit him before he's 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Popps

Yea, dumb penalty... but it might not have been a bad idea, in retrospect. Nothing short of a shotgun was going to stop that guy today.

(Disclaimer: Popps does not support the any attempts to intentionally injure players, even for crap-can organizations like the Chiefs.)

Yes. Very classy play.

damn straight. atleast we increased our draft picks in round 2-7 (whichever picks are still ours anyway)

a personal foul was the least of our issues.

it looked like a clean tackle to me.

I dunno, a real defense might've been able to get it done.

That play made me want to crawl into my couch. The whistle had blown. He could have broke that guy's damn neck.

Ayers sucks, totally invisible out there with the exception of that.

Tomorrow is going to be an awesome wrestling day.

Bret Hart is back on RAW after 12 years.

TNA is hosting their first ever Monday Night special with Hulk Hogan's debut along with Ric Flair and Rob Van Dam expected to show up.

Maybe next time he can hit him before he's 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

the only things missing on that play were:

1) helmet projectiles
2) Broncos defenders jumping around and high fiving each other after stopping him for a 20+ yard gain.

ahhh... the good old days of 2008.

I don't know about you guys, but watching today's game and Ayers' bodyslam on Jamaal Charles... Was one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

I still don't believe they should have called a foul on it though, since Charles was still fighting for yards, the whistle hadn't blown, and I've seen that play a million times not get called.

Oh sorry. I do agree that it was an awesome football play though. Ticky tack call IMO since the Ball Carrier was still alive.

This was not awesome, cool, or even rad. It was a classless move by a marginal player. Celebrating it makes you look like a biatch.

Classless? The guy was still fighting for yards, was he supposed to just let him go? No, he took him backwards.

If Ray Lewis makes the same play, he doesn't get flagged, and everyone would be knob slobbing him.

I haven't watched the game yet - I was busy getting my CCW permit all day yesterday - what QTR did it happen in?

I have no desire to sit and watch the entire cluster**** of a game.

first KC drive of the second half. it happened on 2-and-12 from the DEN 46. after the 15 yard run and the 15 yard penalty, KC had 1st-and-10 at the DEN 16.

That classless **** could have EASILY broke Charles neck. People who think that was legal or "cool" are just as classless and chicken**** as the piece of **** Ayers that done it. Hopefully he'll get a huge fine in the near future and literally pay for his actions.

Yea and that cut block at Thomas's knees 20 yards away from the ball was pretty classy. At least Charles was back in the game on the next play and the Chefs got 15 yards out of it.

Both were classless plays, as much as I don't like the Broncos. I hate to see players get hurt, especially on filthy plays.

I thought it was a stupid play. He wasn't moving forward at all, when he picked him up and body slammed him. That's how headband wearing McMahon's career ended.. a body slam where he was picked up, and slammed.. you are utterly defenseless in that position.

Stupid play, stupid penalty... you really don't need to pick a guy and bodyslam him, if he is not moving forward.

McMahon was injured before Martin slammed him down on his bad shoulder. McMahon was REXMAN before REXMAN was born, but lots cooler.

McMahon missed so many games before that, even the 85 year they had to use Fuller.

McMahon had a long career and flourished as a backup. I wouldn't say that to his face though.
