It's possible, even likely, that Brandon Marshall has played his final game as a Bronco. If Denver gets back a 1 and 3 for him, he's gone.

i hope not, marshall is still my favorite player on the team.

A 1 and 3 sounds good to me, take it if its there.

All these draft picks we are getting for established players better pan out.

Marshall is a headcase of epic proportions but he is a monster on the field... how do we replace his production?

You don't. Same as the QB situation we are in now.

That's a tough question to answer with no guarantees either way.

The problem I have is paying big money for some of these experienced and talented players with questionable tendencies. As they continue it comes to the point where it may be a better option to cash in and get some eager hungry players.

Well I can see us losing to the Chorfs outright today. No better way to completely embarrass the franchise further.

You know I was all for keeping and resigning him hoping the money would change his ways, but after watching his interview after hearing he had been deactivated turned me off of him again.

all the blame went to coach. coach never played in nfl, coach never played injured, I have been nothing but a professional, blah blah blah

rod smith never intentionally kicked and dropped passes in training camp

td never held out to get more money

karl mecklenburg never got caught by police and complained about city and wanting out

john elway never had numerous 911 calls in short span

ed mccaffery was never in top 5 in dropped passes

THEY WERE PROFESSIONALS!!!

Brandon not so much, good riddance!

I see us winning either way, with or without them.

Yeah, I just don't know... I'm so tired of marshalls act I would take just about anything as compensation. The problem is for as much as a headcase as he is off the field he one of the best WR's I've ever seen on the field.

Though I agree with McKidds team first atitude, the fact is talent wins in the NFL.

We need to get more than just draft picks for him.

But...but.buut... I thought we drafted Alphonso Smith with next years first round pick as a throwaway because we didn't want to spend money on two firsts and Josh McDaniels's wouldn't be stupid enough to waste that pick otherwise.

thats OM speculation. to say we passed on another first round pick because we didnt want to pay it? dumb, most first round picks arent that expensive, just the top 7 or so.

I think I understand BM's frustration with not having a new contract but he must recognize that he has some blame in the matter.

This is his second major blowup this season. One is too many.

I know, I just find it amusing that all the lies and excuses the McDanielites have been pushing are starting to eat each other.

Look, I am not a McDaniels fan (he has done nothing to warrent it yet) or hater. The line between insanely good and just plain insane is razor thing, and McDaniels has spent time on both sides this year.

But so far, the fact the Broncos collapsed in the exact same way they collapsed the last three years means McDaniels didn't get it done.

Ask Dallas and Philly.

They managed to replace the production of a well-known "headache" of a WR.

At a certain point, the **** isn't worth it.

Not true.

Our collapse last year didn't involve 2 of the 7 games being played without our starting QB.

We weren't playing tight, last-minute games with playoff-caliber teams at the end of the season, like we did this year.

The losses count the same, but the quality of play hasn't gone of a cliff the way it did last season, and we still may finish with a winning record and a playoff berth.

This season is very different from last with regard to HOW the team has struggled. Yes, fully understanding that a loss is a loss... it's still not at all accurate to say it's "exactly the same way." It's not.

I don't disagree with that... I just get nervous with draft picks to replace 100 catch seasons.

Marshall is awesome as a WR he is a **** bag as a person. if he wanted the spotlight all to himself he should have chosen a different sport like basketball not a team sport like football. I would take the 1st and 3rd and say good ridince besides I feel like the o would be better served with a deep threat not that I dont love watching BM on sunday but I am so sick of his crap I am ready to move on.

Who do you think is more worthy of their "headache"?

Probably neither, but at least TO can catch a ball over his shoulder.

Retarded question: If we give him the high tender and someone signs him, do we get those picks in the upcoming draft, or 2011?

I guess with Marshall the lesson is, it's ok to show attitude and your personality when the team is winning. But it's not ok to show that attitude and personality when the team is losing!

Marshall hasn't changed, he's been the same guy he was before. Winning and a great start masked all of that, but emotionally, he's been the same guy.

I don't really give a damn. As long as he's not getting arrested or doing something illegal or against the rules, he's one of the best players on the team period.

Come on Popps, you quickly dismiss the RB injury issues last year and say you have to get it done anyhow, but then you drop the Kyle (Sorry ass) Orton was injured in 2 of the 7 losses as though McD should get a pass for that. Actually, I'm fine giving McD a pass but Shanny also deserves a pass for all of those RB injuries. The point is, you're pretty hypocritical regarding the two coaches when it comes to injury.
