Just like you’re wondering whether Tom Brady will play on Sunday, so is everyone else. The Patriots quarterback said his father has been asking him, ” ‘Are you guys going to this play this week?‘ ”

Brady asked coach Bill Belichick the same thing. The answer?

“You’ll play, don’t worry about that,” Belichick said to Brady. “You’ll be playing.”

As if, why wouldn’t he?

“Of course, I want to play,” Brady said. “I don’t want to lose a game. You don’t just forfeit these games. Playing Houston, I don’t want to see one of them in the offseason and them saying ‘Hey, we beat you guys.’ Screw that. You have to go out there and play.”

Does he expect to stay in the entire time?

“Close game, blowout, we get behind, I’m expecting to play the whole game,” Brady said. “I wouldn’t see why we wouldn’t. It’s our job to prepare to play, and I certainly am. I want to play, and I want to do great against a team that’s fighting for their playoff life and has a lot of great players and really challenges you in some different ways. It’s a meaningful game for us. It’s a meaningful game for them, too. It would be great for us to win on the road against a damn good team.”
