They could play the Jets in the first round of the playoffs. Can you say vanilla?

They have one of the best defenses in the league. I would say that there is a reason not to play them. Hell, they could play a team that has won 3 out of 10 with a little revenge on top.

I think Bengals won't try..BAL will win against OAK..that's for sure..
We are in trouble.

But, somehow i am feeling we will reach playoff's

And if they win, they get to play the Ravens, right?

It would be pretty stupid to win that game actually.

Well given your above scenario, there is no possible way. Unless you are thinking CIN is going to win on accident.

Only if Baltimore loses to Oakland.

it doesn't matter about the steelers and ravens if the Bengals and Texans win

Reverse the situation would you go out and play your guts out for all the teams on the outside looking in or do what's in the best interest of your team.

• A loss by the New York Jets at home against Cincinnati, along with either a Ravens loss or Steelers loss.

• A Jets loss and a win by the Houston Texans against New England.

• A Ravens loss and a Texans win.

I don't know man..Somehow, i am feeling that we will reach playoff's.

Regardless, I can't forgive and forget the loss against OAK.

I think Bowlen hired wrong coach. His playcalling sucks.

Then get a QB that can throw the ball downfield.

I think Orton is stop gap..If Mcd wants to coach for more years, he needs to get a QB that can stretch the field.

Yep..Cutler sucks..I am happy that he is gone.

Orton is certainly better than Cutler.

But, if we want to win games..we need to get a QB that can stretch the field.

We got the ball around 50 yard line around 3 times(i believe).Still, we got only 3 points. If it is anyother QB, i believe we would have scored more points.

Also, in OAK game..we couldn't score TD's.

We need a QB badly..otherwise, we will be 8-8/9-7/10-6 record.

I hope OAK wins the game against Baltimore..

Most Bengal fans want to lose this game so they can screw Pittsburgh out a playoff spot too.

Have you watched any of the games? Specifically the plays on offense where we TRY to run the ball and the defensive line and linebackers are in the backfield by the time the running back gets the ball.

You do realize that there is such a thing as a running game, right? And that right now, ours is virtually non-existant? And that teams are allowed to run the ball in for a TD or at least down the field, right?

Orton isn't a top 10 QB, but our running game needs to be fixed or we'll need a top 3 QB to win us any more games than Orton has this year. I don't think we'll be getting Manning, Brees or Rivers in a trade any time soon, so priority #1 on offense is to fix what's broken there (OL) with anything else being a distant, distant #2.

Oh and it's pretty hard to "stretch the field" when the QB does play action, turns around and is already having to dodge tacklers from multiple angles.

If we get a QB in the draft, good. Hopefully he'll become the next top 3 QB in the league, but Orton has not been losing these games for us, that's on the OL.
