Wow, what an idiotic thing to say. You grossly overrate Hillis.

He'll end up with 810 yds on 10 carries and 10 touchdowns.

Who's Hillis? Oh, you mean Peyton Hillis? This season's JMFW and Hixon guy, right?

No way...but he can take solace in the fact that he at least gets to dress for these games.

To be fair... Hill has actually PRODUCED for us in his career here unlike the other two mentioned.

McDaniel's did mention on Sirius NFL network that Hillis and Jorden would get some work this week. Believe it or not he actually mentioned Hillis by Name

Yet another Hillis lovefest thread. Many conveniently forget how Hillis only got carries and playing time after a handful of RB's got hurt last year. So even Shahanan wasn't that enamored with this guy.

Yes, Hillis will get his touches in garbage time. That's actually good news, because if he doesn't, that means we've lost the game and with it, all play-off aspirations we had...

I've read about everything posted about Hillis here, and I'm with the people who wonder why this kid isn't getting more carries when a top producer like Buckhalter goes down.

Hillis showed last year he has the ability. It has to be something off the field.

Yes. Once Lamont Jordan clearly demonstrates again that he has nothing left, Hillis will get some carries.

If Jordan still hurt, Buck is out, then yes I could see him getting 10 touches.

More then that though I can see Broncos throwing a lot. Maybe 35 plus attempts for Orton.

I could see Hillis getting 7-10 touches though. Maybe even more if Broncos are playing really well and get any kind of lead.

I bet he serves more water bottles on the sidelines than touches in the game.

Mr. McD....sir.... would you like that H2o with a lemon slice?

Seriously?

Shanny was only impressed with Hillis only after he performed well in the games he started.

Question for ya.....would Shanny have started Hillis on ST's in 2009 had he not been fired? Also, if Shanny were the coach this season, how large of a role would Hillis played with the first team offense?

FB maybe

Remember should Hillis have a great game Sunday McDaniels will look suspect as to why he didn't use Hillis earlier in the season, especially during the Broncos 4 game losing streak. We already know how Hillis performs w/o playing at all or with limited opportunties. However we don't know how Hillis would perform tomorrow if lets say he's given 15 rushing attempts and 5 to 7 screen passes or passes in general out of the back field.

He can either stink the joint up with drop passes, missed blocking get stuffed on 3rd and short, not convert first downs, miss assignments, fumbles, penalties, rush for under 4.0 yds per carry like Moreno has already done in several games this season.

Hillis won't have a game plan tailored for him. Nor will he get enough carries to get into a groove unless Moreno goes down. I'd love to see him get some screen passes Sunday. But I doubt he'll get the chance.
