This game is VERY important for us.

One Jaguars losses in their final 3 games means they finish 9-7 which means we should be able to finish 10-6 and make the playoffs with that record.

So we WANT the Jags to lose here.

Luckily though the Jags and Dolphins face each other and the loser of that game can finish no better than 9-7 assuming both of them win this week.

Right now the Broncos are 8-5 and ONLY 4 other teams are 7-6 being the Jaguars, Dolphins, Jets, and Ravens.

Ravens own the tiebreaker on us, so if the other 3 lose ONE game in their final three we should be gravy regardless of what happens.

(If we can't beat the Raiders and Chiefs and home we don't deserve to go to the postseason)

Yeah. I'm for that as well. Can't stand their stupid champagne party. Funniest part though is how damn easy their strength of schedule was and it wasn't even a 16 game season.

I think they are on borrowed time this year for their first loss. It would suck for them to come on their first playoff game, which I think it will. They've had to execute at high level under high pressure and make a lot of comebacks, that will come back to bite them, imo.

No.

What is enursha?

enursha is the feeling of being lighter or heavier than your body really is. for example, the earth pulls a force of 1G but if a astronaut was to visit a planet with a gravitational pull of 5G's their body will feel 5 times heavier than it actually is and vice versa if they visited a planet with a gravitational pull of 0.2G's.

We'll see what happens when their opponent doesn't let them off the hook or they fail to make the big play at the end. What they've got going is not a recipe for 19-0, bud.

some of those teams play each other or have a brutal schedule. One team with 9 wins will make it. I wouldnt want to take that chance as we lose the tiebreaker against at least one of them, Ravens.

Doesn't Denver have to win out to guarantee a spot aren't there alot of 7-6 teams alive with a shot at 10 wins?

Assume that Denver wins its 2 home games, loses to the Eagles, and that the Chargers take the AFC West.

The following AFC teams could also wind up at 10-6:

Cincinnati (currently 9-4)
New England (currently 8-5)
Miami (currently 7-6)
NY Jets (currently 7-6)
Baltimore (currently 7-6)

Cincinnati and New England are both probably non-factors for the Broncos. If they win their divisions, they wouldn't take up wild card slots anyway. If either of them collapses and winds up 10-6 and in the wild card derby, Denver would have the tiebreaker over both of them due to HTH wins.

So what it really boils down to (in the event of a 10-6 finish) is Miami, the Jets and the Ravens.

Baltimore owns the HTH win over Denver and they also have one of the easier looking schedules in their last three games (Chicago, Pittsburgh & Oakland) so they would seem to be the biggest threat.

Denver and the Jets haven't played this year but one of the top tiebreakers is conference record and the Jets have already lost one more AFC game than Denver. The Jets still have to play Atlanta, Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

The Dolphins are a harder to team to figure out. No head to head and they currently have the same conference record as Denver. They still play Tennessee, Houston and Pittsburgh.

Up to this point, if you look at the record against common opponents, Denver is slightly ahead (2-1, compared to 1-2) But if Miami wins out, that would include, by definition, a win over Pittsburgh, so that would even out with both teams at 2-2 against common enemies.

Then you go, I think, to "strength of victory" which means the record of the opponents each team has defeated. This could change a lot in the next three weeks. All other things being equal, we want to see teams that Denver beat (and that Miami did not) win as much as possible (against everyone but Denver, of course): The Giants, Dallas, New England, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Kansas City, Oakland - - even San Diego. We want to see Jacksonville continue to lose, as well as the Jets and the Bills.

Since there are two wild card slots, that does give Denver some breathing room in the event that Baltimore wins out.

then say wins is a major factor (which elway has a ton of as well, look at his win % and his teams talent levels in his earlier years, amazing). dont say 4k yards is a must have because its not, especially in todays game where teams pass 35 times a game routinely.
