For my 1000th post -- a little Christmas present for everyone here on the Mane. As we all saw in the epic Peyton Hillis thread, a company named HRT produces psychological player profiles for the New York Giants, and for some strange reason, their 2008 evaluations come up when you google them. Enjoy now, before someone takes them down!

Oh, really? Apologies if it's a re-post / double post -- way to screw up my 1000th, eh?

For some players, there are two reports available -- an HRT-only report, and a NY Giants Grade report. On several of them (not just the Broncos), the grades have changed in the first few categories at the top.

No idea why -- some scout tampering with the data, maybe? Or possibly just a re-score due to some procedural mistake in scoring?

Cool stuff here. I missed it the first time around.

I'm really fascinated by Hillis' write up. His negatives are significant, which I never would have guessed.

Conversely, here's Woodyard...

Woodyard is committed to being the best he can be. He will give 100 percent effort in practices, and will do whatever it takes to get mentally and physically ready for the next game. Coaches will see him working hard to improve his strength, conditioning, and technique. Very few players will outwork him in practices and in off-season programs. Woodyard's drive to be all that he can be indicates good upside potential. He enjoys the competitive aspects of the game and will try to punish opponents whenever he can. He will do everything he can to beat his opponent. His mental ability test results consistently indicate that he has the ability to learn his position requirements. His SIGMA test results also indicate that he has learned his position in the past and been able to go into games knowing that he is prepared to play.

Just a thought:

Maybe Hillis' score was sooo low because he was being viewed as a FB and he thought he could be a HB? Maybe that's where his resentment/desire to not learn the position stemmed from?

I mean...he cant be that big of a coaching problem, can he?
