Mixed feelings here, we need the Ravens to lose once, to help us in our playoff bid, yet, the lower pick in the draft may help us for many years into the future.

What is your choice????????

I'm a bit on the fence....but I'll say I want Chicago to lose....keep making that draft pick better.

I really believe Baltimore will win out, and get a wildcard. If that's the case, we just need Jacksonville to drop 1 game (assuming we beat Oakland and KC)....we could then afford to lose the Philly game.

But if Baltimore AND Jacksonville both win out and go to 10-6....then we would need to win out to go to 11-5 to make the playoffs.

I just think Jacksonville will drop one to either the Colts tomorrow night, or to New England the following week....then we should be ok.

Go Baltimore in this one.

The best thing for the Broncos is for them to make the playoffs, not back in. So they need to just take care of their own business and not worry about other teams.

That and I have a hatred for the Bears' QB and want to see him continue to fail miserably.

Other than for throwing picks, you just can't depend upon Jay Cutler for anything, period.

I hate relying on other teams when your team is in the playoff hunt. Therefore I root for Cutler to continue doing what he does best (sucking). I will also not root for the Ravens. I will root for the Broncos to win their next three games.

would anyone seriously want the Broncos to NOT make the playoffs and in return get a higher pick

I'm all for further pain being inflicted on Chicago.

#8 pick in the draft could pay dividends for a VERY long time.

Another vote for Baltimore. If the Broncos finish 10-6 they probably will make the playoffs, regardless of what Baltimore does. If the Ravens get the 5th seed and the Broncos are 6th, so be it. I want the Broncos to make the playoffs to give McD and his staff playoff experience - don't really expect them to go too far. The Chicago draft pick means more to the long term prospects of the franchise.

Go Ravens. I love watching the Bears fail every week. It has helped carry me through the weekends the Broncos lost

Since I'm always wrong I will take Chicago in this one, this will insure the Ravens will win.

Go Ravens. We should handle our own business, not worrying about other teams failing to make the playoffs.

This is a clear "be careful what you wish for" game (for me, at least). My heart says I want Chicago to lose badly, but my head says I should be rooting for a Baltimore loss. I'm going with my head here. It's only 3 or 4 positions in the draft, and it would be such a disappointment to not make the playoffs again.

Obviously, it doesn't actually matter what I want, but I'm slightly afraid I'll jinx the playoffs by rooting for a better draft pick... So... Go Jay!!! :griese:

Rooting against the Bears is the only thing I have in common with all my Viking fan friends, so yeah, let's do that.

I agree with other posters in that the Broncos can't worry about the ravens and the raven's playoff position. The Broncos just need to win.

I'd love for da bearz to lose.
