The good news is that Russell is playing again for Oakalnd. Me and three college buddies playing defensive back could confuse him.

If the Broncos’ game against Indianapolis went any longer, they might have run out of safeties.

David Bruton was inactive with a thigh injury. Renaldo Hill left the game with an ankle injury and was on crutches afterward. Darcel McBath, who intercepted Manning, got injury treatment after the game. Josh Barrett and Brian Dawkins, who were each on the injury report this week, were the healthiest safeties at the end.

Also, cornerback Ty Law was out of the game in the fourth quarter, perhaps because of an injury.

“I can’t talk about stuff like that,” Law said when asked if he was injured.

Running back Correll Buckhalter also left on crutches. He said it was the same ankle injury that forced him to miss a game earlier this season, but to the other foot.

An empty plate confuses Jaba. A football confuses Jaba. If he is starting next week, we should be cured of any ailments for at least a week.

It appears Oakland quarterback Bruce Gradkowski (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9780) could miss the final three games of the season.

<!--INLINE MUG--> http://a.espncdn.com/i/headshots/nfl/players/65/9780.jpg
Gradkowski
<!--END INLINE MUG-->The San Francisco Chronicle (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/raiders/author?blogid=11&auth=204) is reporting Gradkowski injured both knees in the third quarter of a 34-13 loss to Washington on Sunday.

Gradkowski tore the miniscus ligament in his left knee and partially tore the one in his other knee, the paper reported. He is supposed to get an MRI on Monday. Gradkowski wouldn’t rule himself out for the season Sunday.

But it could be the case. That would be a shame for him. He was playing well since taking over for JaMarcus Russell (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10446). Gradkowski was 2-1 as the starter going into Sunday’s home game. He gave Oakland life like Russell never did.

He could be in the mix as Oakland’s starter next year even if he doesn’t play the rest of the season. Russell didn’t do anything to help his cause for future playing time as he played poorly Sunday in Gradkowski’s absence..

Relax, man. People are just pissed. You don't sound superstitious, but most of us are. I have to put my home Champ Bailey jersey away for a bit. This is the 2nd loss we've had when I've worn it this year. (Sorry, Champ.)

I'm moving to the old-school Elway next week. That's my bull****-stopper. It's the rally-cap.

According to the rules of the Mane, McBath will henceforth be known as "injury prone". The act of drafting him will be referred to as "risky". A new thread shall be created every time a player of the same position who was drafted after him, makes a play.

So it shall be!

Okay, so here is the list so far.

PhillyBroncosNut- No more attending games. As much as he wants to go he CANNOT attend the game against Philly in a few weeks.

Popps- No more Champ Home Jersey. Frame it and hang it, but no more game day rep'n.

tsiguy- No more dumbass reverse mojo threads... IDIOT.

Deckuf- No more Broncoman13 jersey, we are .000 while wearing it this year. 0-2. But we are 4-2 while wearing my Rod Smith. The good news is, now that we've finished our little win streak, I can change my name back. :)

Oh and tsi is a fooking idiot. I hope he slips on ice on his drive way and falls on a 15"... you know...

There's no such thing as a "meniscus ligament"... it's cartilage.

Not that it matters, but Gradkowski's injuries are not serious.

which is serious

I would be pretty suprised if he came back one week after tearing his menisci in both knees. It isn't career threatening, but that isn't something you just go out and play on. He's gonna need arthroscopic surgery to remove/repair them.

He's constantly in good position, and the fact that you don't hear his name called much is a GOOD thing, not a bad thing. He's played in relief of Dawkins and Hill and been very competent, and I thought he played some great football yesterday.

yes, I think he'll be a stud.

Hard to call him a "future stud" yet, but he's been really solid the last several weeks. He made 2 big plays yesterday (the pick and a big hit to jar the ball loose on a potential completion to Dallas Clark), and seemed to be really coming on. He definitely has shown the potential to be a solid starter in the future.
