So the lateral only negates his yards on the catch? Not the catch itself?

Too bad we didn't get the win though.

We had this game. It was gift wrapped to the tone of 3 INT's.

We just completely failed at running the ball.

he tied it already last year vs the chargers so its good that he finally broke it. his name is up there now twice lol

21 catches in 2009
20 catches in 2008

then you got TO with 20 catches in 2000 i believe

He had 18 against the Chargers. Not 20

Props to Brandon.

He played like a top-tier player today. Games like this are where your stars show up. He showed himself to be a star today. Hopefully he'll continue this down the stretch.

who cares about the record...we lost. It's worthless to get that many balls and lose.

Congrats Bmarsh!

Probably could have had the all time yardage too if we had a QB that could go down field more often.

Congrats to BM. He really sparked the team in the second quarter when we were down and out.

Outstanding game for Marshall... big time kudos. Seeing TO bumped from #1 makes it even sweeter.

Ask him how his team did today.

21 catches by BMarsh... PROPS! Sad he wasn't used in the 1st quarter or he would have OBLITERATED the record.

The opposite side of the coin here is how pathetic our other WR's stats are. Gosh, you would have thought the Colts would have been throwing two or three defenders on BMarsh to cover him, which would have left other guys wide open and big plays all over the field. Guess Royal's 100 catches last year were an aberration... or maybe it's just the QB who's dragging down this offense.

Makes up for his slow start in ONE game - on his way to 3rd consecutive 100 catch season - PAY THE MAN!

Congratulations, its rare a WR carries a team on his back, but Marshall was all that and more today...

I am happy Marshall broke the record and did so on a TD. He really showed he's one of the best players in the game and he's kept his nose clean (knock on wood) thus far. I just wish he could have one of his best games and we could win. It seems whenever he really goes nuts for us it's wasted b/c we lose. Last time it was b/c Orton left the game and we had watch Simms flop around.

I just wish we don't let him go and he keeps up his good attitude. He's awesome.

On his way to 10+ TD's too - that's something the really great WR's always do.

I am not sure what Mcdaniels has done to Marshall, but it has worked, he is playing better than last year (making more of his chances and not dropping balls as often) and he is being super versatile this year.

B-Marsh now has 86 catches for 1008 yards and 9 TDs on the year.

Some perspective about what B-Marsh has done in his first 4 years in Denver:

At the end of this year, he will most likely have 3 of the top 4 single season for receptions in Denver Broncos history.

25 years old and you have 3 of the best 4 years for a WR in Denver Broncos history.

Denver simply has to find a way to pay the man.

#15 was good for #21 for 200. Just wish it all added up to #9 for the season.

He was a absolute BEAST today. The colts were taking shots at him and getting hurt for the effort. The running game killed us. We are better than people think, and we are only going to get better.
