To me this is a very telling game. Manning has embarrassed past Bronco's team, let's see how he does against the new Broncos.

I believe "Not so good"

What do you think - Poll coming.....

Most of my nightmares include Peyton Manning and Dallas Clark... So yes this game scares the **** out of me.

The one thing I'm optomistic about is peyton vs the 3-4. He has struggled in the past. Let's hope that continues.

i don't think we can compare anything in the past meetings of these 2 teams and the upcoming meeting.

of those old Broncos teams the only guys still with the franchise are DJ and Champ.

this is an entirely new team with a new attitude and there is no way the results will be anything like the results from past seasons.

The pre- vent defense last year was a disaster.

If Dawkins, Champ, Goodman & Co cover the Colts' receivers like a fly on **** - anything is possible....

Go Donks!

I think this game will go a long way toward telling us what kind of coach Josh McDaniels is becoming.

Anybody have any history on Nolan's defenses against Manning?

We have to give him many different looks on defense, such as 1 lineman down, and multiple blitzers, etc.. That's the only way to beat this guy is to confuse the **** out of him and disguise your blitzing.

Anybody have any history on Nolan's defenses against Manning?

Someone posted it yesterday...

12/19/99 (Washington) 23-37, 298 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
12/03/00 (NY Jets) 27-51, 339 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
10/13/02 (Baltimore) 30-40, 284 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
12/19/04 (Baltimore) 20-33, 249 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT
10/09/05 (San Francisco) 23-31, 255 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

Problem is he is 1-4... but the stats look ok otherwise.

Looks like he is 0 & 5 by your chart

Wait a minute those scores don't jive with the TDs scored either What am I missing?

Well lets hope if McD unleashes Hillis, Peyton becomes a nightmare to the Colts Defense. Thats our equalizer especially if the Colts hadn't prepared for Hillis.

Win or lose, will not change that I feel that the team is well coached. I also feel that the team will respond well, I just hope we can make enough plays to win.

This will be our statement game of the season.

Someone other than Manning scored TDs?

I have a pretty good feeling about this game, one thing I noticed is that we play a LOT better as underdogs for some reason. When people starting taking this team too seriously they underperform, but when they are not being discussed as a contender they are out there kicking ass.

We can definitely surprise Indy, especially if they are worried more about the win streak record and home field advantage than getting dirty - because this team is willing to get dirty.

Those are passes and attempted passes. Not scores.

If I had to guess, they win by 17 in a game that's closer than the score shows as they get a couple of garbage points. I think we have a chance tho, we match up well against them for a f'n change - a couple bounces going are way would be nice & could turn things.

Here's to hoping the defense swings a big stick and Indy is hoping to not get hurt.

Denver still has a chance at the division and with all the opposition losing in the AFC, a great chance at the wildcard.

2 wins probably gets us in the playoffs, 3 guarantees it and puts pressure on the Chargers the whole way. Denver can actually still get the by but we need Cincy to beat SD, along with another team. Cincy has to drop one coming down the stretch as Denver holds the tie breaker.

Denver needs to win out in that situation.

Lets go Broncos.

The giggling clowns at NFL Network think it's gonna be a blowout. The most generous score they give is 31-17. Baldy, Joey T and Sterling went on about the previous blowouts. Never mind most of those defensive players aren't even on the team anymore. But hey, why worry about facts? Just suck up and talk more pap about Manning.

Ever optimistic.

Either way, is there anyone here who would not say that McD and the Brocnos have not exceeded expectations this year?

We can always go back and pull up te "preseason predictions" threads so be honest.....

I really believe that the Broncos will do well against Indy. I had a dream that Dawk and Champ had picks. Interesting but unimportant. They have to keep Manning off of the field and then when he does get on, they need to knock him on his azz.
