I do think we'll be brought down to Earth this week. Can't get my hopes up too high. That way this "yearly beatdown" won't sting so bad come Sunday night.

Colts get soundly trounced by a fired up Bronco team and they ride that emotion to three more wins. Moreno catches fire and runs for 147.

Until Spider starts this thread that's my take.

I had a good feeling about our game against the Giants.... I have a bad feeling about this one.

I just don't think our D is ready for Manning and his no huddle.... We have looked lost often this year when teams hurry it up. If we can keep Manning off the field, it might be close, but I'm not sure it's going to matter....

35-24 - Colts

55-10. Manning will be benched at the half.

Manning throws 4 tds in the first half, Sorgi is dusted off to throw three more in the second. 55-10 (It still hurts me to see that score and it's almost been 20 years!).

Screw this reverse mojo stuff.

Manning and the Colts haven't faced a top-ten pass defense all year.

So far, they've played vs

#13 New England
#14 Houston
#15 Baltimore
#16 St. Louis

...

#23 Jacksonville
#24 Miami
#25 Seattle
#27 San Francisco
#30 Arizona
#31 Tennessee

Denver's pass defense is ranked #2.

The part that concerns me most is the early east coast game problem.

Against average pass defense teams, they beat Houston twice (by 3 and 8). They beat the Ravens by 2. They beat the Pats by 1.

The only blowout vs. an average pass defense team was the 42-6 win over St. Louis (who lost their 17th straight in that game).

I really think we have a very good chance to walkout with a victory this week

I heard that as part of Goodell's new player safety agenda he has been in talks with Bowlen and McDaniels to keep Denver from even flying to Indy this weekend. Apparently he feels that if Denver is allowed to play in this game there is a real possibility that the entire Denver offense could receive debilitating concussions, fortunately he has no such concerns for the defense who most likely will not be in contact much with the Colts offense.

Of course we all know Bowlen is a drunk with memory problems and McDaniels is an evil imp bent on destroying this franchise, so I'm sure Denver will show up to the game and be blown out.

I think Sorgi is on IR.

The Colts just signed some new, unknown, long-winded named QB who's gonna step in and smoke the Broncos' defense to the tune of 5 TDs and 400 yards of passing. in.the.4th.quarter.

2-0....

We force overtime because our D is so dominating....we win the toss

Hillis decides to run the ball out of the endzone and slips and falls at our 2 yard line....First play from scrimmage, Freeney beats Clady around the edge, Orton triple pumps and is sacked in the endzone
