Gay is out, palamalu is out, ward is out, big ben and mendenhal are game time decisions........its supposed to be 14 degrees at kickofff (itl feel like -10 with the wind and snow)

i think they got a chance.........

actually i really dont.........just trying to convince myself that there is a reason to go to the game........

having trouble selling those season tickets of yours? Steeler fans should be an easy sell that close to Pittsburgh. Sell them to a Steelers fan and buy some hot cocoa with the fireplace roasting and enjoy the game at room temperature.

You'd have to be on drugs to want to sit in the stands for that game. I've been hearing 30+ MPH winds and snow. Plus two teams, neither of which are the Broncos? F that!

Is it me, or does it seem like the Browns have had 12 prime-time games this year?

Why do they have ONE?

They've been playing harder, as of late. I don't expect a win, but that would be a huge bonus.

Anything can happen in December. Also screw not making them play in it like some people said. This is what makes it fun.

I'll never forget GB/Den monday night in the snow. We returned 2 fumbles for tds and squeeked out a victory LOL. You couldn't even see the field.

Either don't bet it, or take the Browns and the 13.5. I'm no pro handicapper or gambler but I would think this is not a game the big time bettors are really interested in.

Chargers so much better then Browns, but the weather etc etc could be unpredictable. Gamblers don't like unpredictable.

yeah it was great on TV in warm so cal.

You just can't postpone games, its not logistically feasible.

When are you going to replay them? What if weather is bad again?

Unless its lightning or a blizzard so insane its physically dangerous to be out in it, hail, etc etc I don't think they ever call a game. Also this late in yr they would make players wait and start game 6-7-8 hours late if they had to.

There just isn't any other weeks before playoffs to settle games that could have a bearing on playoffs.

That was a pretty bad stretch for this team. They came out of the bye with zero energy and the level of play dropped off greatly. If these two teams played that game this week, the outcome would be very very different.

Good points and Pitt was desperate now it looks like they packed in the season. But still that 4 game losing skid really sucks because the Broncos should be up at least 2 more games seeing how Washington sucks, the Ravens have slid and Pittsburgh is spiraling. O'Well lessons learned from those missed opportunities will only help the team. That is if the coach pounds the point home!

Totally agree, I think McD learned a valuable lesson. Veteran teams can handle a bye week and extra time off. A young team and a team with 50% turnover on the roster can't have the extra time off. I remember McD saying he gave the team a long break and unfortunately it showed when they came back.

Thankfully, the team and coaches were able to get things back on track!

It's all about Polamalu. When he is healthy the D is scary good. Without him the secondary is average and all you have to account for is their LB's. If we played the Steelers when Polamalu was out it would have been a different story.
