AFC wildcard

Patriots (10-6) @ Dolphins (10-6) = Dolphins win

Chargers (10-6) @ Bengals (10-6) = Chargers

Byes: Colts and Broncos

Divisional

Dolphins (10-6) @ Broncos (10-6) = Broncos win

Chargers (10-6) @ Colts (15-1) = Chargers win they usually give colts trouble

AFC Championship

Chargers (10-6) @ Broncos(10-6) = Broncos get their revenge @ mile high

hello Superbowl. Vikings (14-2) vs Broncos (10-6) . we get a chance to spoil Brett Favre's spectacular season lol.

anyway thats my dream scenario and if things could fall this way thats how I would want to do it actually I might change out the vikings with the Cowboys since romo in big games usually works in the other team's favor.

just proves we can still get the #2 seed if we lose @indy and @phi it can happen but one loss to a certain team changes everything. you can make your own and post it here.

No way... we get the first round BYE would be the scenario that I'd want to see.

If Chargers, Broncos, Patriots, Bengals end up 10-6, wouldn't Broncos be the #2 seed behind Colts? lol

id rather us not get a first round bye. seems like teams that do always come out slow, sluggish and not ready.

the media's collective head would explode then implode, creating a quantum singularity known as peyton manning's head 2.0

yeah, just like the broncos in '98......

but on the other hand, broncos in '96....hmmm

basically it depends more on the character of the team than the bye itself. we have loads of veterans, I don't think it would matter

i mean any team in general. look at this years bye for us.

sometimes they make it through it because they are a better team, they earned a bye for a reason. but just seems teams come out stronger each week instead of a week off.

McDaniels biggest mistake this year was the way he handled the bye. He proclaimed it vacation week. Marshall worked the radio circuit. Everyone went home. It took a throttling by the Chargers to wake the team up from that mistake.

I can't imagine that'd happen again in the (very) unlikely case we have a playoff bye.

I must have missed the part that Denver actully made the playoffs.

And the part where he referred to it as a 'dream playoff scenario'

i thought the 98 Vikings were the surest thing I'd ever seen too....they kinda remind me of that team...explosive

Yes and no.

The difference was that San Diesgo picked up our blitzes in the second game. We just couldn't generate enough QB pressure. If you can't harrass Rivers, you are usually going to lose.

I think we are now equipped to stop their run game, but giving Rivers 5-6 seconds is suicidal.

You say the Chargers will finish 10-6? So they will lose 3 of their next 4? I just don't see it.....they are rolling right now.

We were rolling at 6-0 too and we lost 4 straight so you never know. I can see them losing 2 more but 3 is probably wishful thinking,
