I think LSU is not getting enough credit by experts they all say OU.
I think LSU has as good of a Defense as OU does.
LSU has a solid running game Wr's are pretty good too.
LSU played tougher more physical teams then OU has
Will Mike Stoops departure cause problems in preparing for sugarbowl?
I think OU's offense is good but, not scary IMO see how they do against a great D.
Be interesting to see what happens for sure

I wouldn't be suprised if OU lost the game. Heck I don't think they should even be playing there. You have to win your confrence to be the true national champions.....
Anyways GO LSU!

Regardless of who wins, it'll be a split title(which the BCS was supposed to rid us of.)
I'm pulling for LSU, if you'e not good enough to win your own conference, you shouldn't be good enough to win ther National championship.
Go figure, the best team in football may be the 2nd best ranked team in their own conference, that's some sad irony.

Exactally I love listening to Oklahoma fans explain to me why they are still the number one team in the NCAA. Why they deserved to go over USC....
Fact is they didn't take care of Kansas State in a game that counts.

I'm not an ou fan, matter of fact I enjoy watching them squirm. But the Big 12 does have a title game that doesn't need to be played. It's played for extra conference money and that is all. If the season ended without a title game for the big 12 like such conferences as the pac 10, big 11, acc, and big east then OU would have won the conference hands down. Atleast they won thier division unlike a north team "Nebraska" a few years ago. Whats great is every year another blimish is added to the BcS and puts a smile on my face. It's getting harder and harder to argue against a playoff now.

That is a huge difference in strength of schedule. And I believe that is what got them in.

Thats the Big 12's choice. If they want to award their champion by playing a final game then they must suffer the negatives with the positives.
Point is if you arent the Big 12 champions then how can you be the national champions.

Denver won't be the afc west champions but could be the superbowl champions. The world is full of imperfections.

OU is going to kill LSU. Any belief to the contrary is just fruitless hope.

LSU will win because they are use to playing in the dome. The same cannot be said for OU.

LSU walks away co-national champs. Would have been nice to see USC vs LSU.

You're right. It would have been nice. But the system that we have and that you have stuck up for in the past didn't see it fit. Don't blame the sooners for going. I don't think USC would have won in that stadium last night either tho. I just talked to a buddy that just got back from the game and it was 3-1 LSU fans to OU fans. Each school got a 16,000 seat allotment, but then the state gets 30,000 seats and then corps, and brokers get the rest. LSU played a hell of a defensive game last night. They deserve the title. Best thing that I saw all night was the breakdown of votes and 3 coaches said FU to the system and voted for USC. That was great. If the game is played in the orange bowl, or even the Fiesta bowl, then USC wins. But in the superdome with that many fans for LSU they would be hard pressed to win.

Yeah I admitted that the system was flawed later in my thinkings. However I don't think we need a full tourny like some are fighting for.
Things need to change thats for sure and I'm open to ideas on what would be the best way. I think this year went a long way in getting some sort of change.

As much as I would love an eight team tourney, it's just not feasible. I too have changed my views as I've gotten back into school and realized what a bitch it is. One thing they need to do is cut down the amount of bye weeks teams have. Instead of 3-4, 2 would be enough. And honestly, the only way the extra game scenario would come into play is years like this year. This is the first year that it truly didn't work. So I think they'll go to a 1vs4 2vs3 format, then the extra game at the end to decide it all. What really is messing that up tho is the rose bowl. They want to keep it pac-10vs big-10 for tradition purposes. Which is fine if they want to bail out of the tourney process and the other 3 big bowls can have the tourney. But the Rose has lots of money and pull with the NCAA. But alas, I think we should just stay with what we have if we can't work out the above scenario and just deal with the fact that every few years there will be a split championship.
