The tour is 9 bucks and is offered 7 days a week except for game day, the day before, and the day after. Its fun...did it the Sat before the steelers game...see the pics in the tailgate thread for the MNF Stiller game. As for cheap tickets...700 round trip ain't bad...and considering the chief game is around new years..good luck...but Kyack.com or any of the cheap ticket sites...its called google...it works.

Baltimore to Oakland is probably your best bet on Southwest.com. Your problem is buying tickets during the busiest high priced holiday months.

Best days to find a ticket for the cheapest price are Tuesday and Saturday. You are in the Holiday season push ticket prices will only go up until the season ends. You best bet is to fly Southwest even if you have to drive to another airport. Bing actually has a really cool tool for searching airfare and it will even get results from all the leading travel sites. It also suggests when to purchase and gives tips. Here is the link:

http://www.bing.com/travel/

I take it you are trying to come home on a Sunday or Monday. Those are bad days to travel as Sunday people are returning home from the weekend get aways and Monday is the Business Travel push.

Hope this helps.

Yep Kayak is another great resource. Since you said you never flew iDenver I bet you are looking at the carriers own websites and not trying different days. $700 is too much even around that date. Too many low fare carriers fly into DIA to pay that much.

The KC game will be cheaper. If you can get the 300 round trip you better book it as I would think you would be lucky to score plane tickets this close to the date during holiday season for under 400.

a plane ticket (inside the US) should never cost more than 400 unless you are:

A. Lazy
B. Rich
C. Buying last minute
and/or
D. Traveling during a holiday. Even in this case, if you buy it early enough it's fine.

Thats your problem. You want to fly in and fly out the same day. Good luck finding cheep tickets that route. Its better to make a weekend out of it and visit Denver some because you will end up saving money.

No way you could save $200 on a plane ticket and you can find a hotel for under $100 per night. Especially if you aren't picky.

Going through the hassle of flying to a game, getting to the game, and then going right back to the airport and leaving does not even sound like fun.

At least spend a night and enjoy your stay and then you can leave the next day.

I did a quick search on southwest.com for KC game and it would of been 400 for the trip. 170 one way and 200 the other or so.

If it were me and I was making my first trip to a game, I would save my money and wait until next year and go to a game in September and come out for 4 or 5 days.

Fly out on a Thursday early and rent a car, drive up into the mountains and go for a hike, drive around and see the sights for a few days. On Saturday you might be able to catch a college game in Boulder or Fort Collins and soak in the college scene. Go to the game on Sunday and hook up with a tailgate party. Spend the night and fly out on Monday morning....not too early though so you don't have to beat rush hour traffic and you can sleep off the hangover.

I have done the fly in go to game and fly home route before and it leaves you so exhausted when you get home. Plus you have to rush leaving the game too which sucks.

I won't fly out to a game unless I have at least 3 or 4 days to enjoy the trip.

If not, it's too much of pain in the ass and you don't get your dollar value in enjoyment.

Wow you aren't listening to any of our suggestions if you aren't finding cheep flights from Baltimore to Denver.

Just used bing.com/travel and found tickets starting at $300 for the 12/20 game. I plugged in Friday 12/18 and returning 12/21. No way you should be not finding flights. Go to Bing.com/travel fly from BWI to DEN departing 12/18 and returning 12/21. If you still tell me you can't find cheap flights you are just lying then.

It really only costs me 100 bucks for hotel at doubletree in Stapleton and a cab ride both ways to the stadium plus beer and ticket price to go to a game. I agree though it is best to try and make a trip of it.

I know you are way young when you put "like" in a post. Bad enough kids say this way too often in regular speech, but in a post? Oh boy. You are waiting way too long to get a good deal. In October, I could get to Denver from LA/OC for around (like) $183. Maybe we will be in a playoff game out in those neck of the woods and you can just drive.....Your Dad can drive you.

Baltimore to Oakland is probably your best bet on Southwest.com. Your problem is buying tickets during the busiest high priced holiday months.

This would be a great idea if he wanted to spend his time watching the game on tv while the game is in Denver. Cant he just watch it at home instead of going to the armpit of the West?

i flew in on a whim for the playoff game against the Pats. i think that i arrived day of and left the next morning. it wasn't ideal but it was certainly worth it.

that said, people are right. it would be much better to have time to relax and explore. go outside the city, see nature, take a dump in the woods, come back and watch some football.. goodnight

I am trying to go from New Orleans to Amsterdam the week of the Wild Card game. I would like to do an open jaw ticket through Denver or whatever City the Broncos are playing in that week.

I prefer to stay over 1 night after the Bronco game at a hotel next to the latest closing bar in the host City.

In the 'Dam I would like to stay fairly close to Leidseplein or anywhere directly on the Singel Canal.

I need to be back home into for the Saints game at the Dome the following weekend.

Need cheap tix to Broncos and Saints games.

Don't worry about food. I will take care of that.

Any help you travel agents can provide would be awesome!
