View Full Version : Honest question about Sarah
I have not seen a straight answer on this yet. She is/was a fan of cap and trade right? If so, that doesn’t “fit” with the image she wants to portray…I'm tired of politicians and inconsistant behavor...and this seems like another example.

Had to tow the McCain company line. I doubt she ever really was for it though. Still, sucks that she compromised there to please the top of the ticket.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, she was all for the bridge to nowhere until her convention speech.

The bottom line for me is that what matters are past actions, because that provides the best chance for folks to see when the chips are down what they will do in the future.
I am not saying she is a big government poster-child, but where she has been inconsistant folks should know.

True, I'm just tired of it... my hope is that if enough folks drop the R's and the D lables, and insist on some basic principles they will vote on, then maybe, just maybe we will see accountability. When that happens maybe I will start my flying unicorn ranch soon as well--

You know what obama set up a grand campaign making a but load of promises with pretty speeches that catered to disgruntled americans but you gotta admit obama really didn't have any competition since bush ruined the republican partys chance at getting a republican in the white house heck the dems probably could have ran a empty soup can and beat McCain. The funny part is that could very well go the other direction in the next elections with obama playing the part as McCain and palin picking out curtains for the white house before the votes are even counted. ( food for thought)

Amen and here's the only campaign speech you should ever hear from a President:
"Hi my name is (doesn't matter) and I'm going to promise a whole bunch of things I'm going to change when elected. Within 3 months however, I will find out that I really can't change jack, as a matter of fact due to special interests being so far up the govts. a$$ that I will be just as ineffective as my predecessors. Every good idea will be frankensteined by both parties until it resembles the big steaming piles of poo you have seen emerge from every other presidency and administration for the last 30 years. That honestly is all our system is capable of any longer and in that regard I will serve you faithfully."
