Yeah, he's got some captain in him

Seriously, dude runs with that style of "want it" that I love. That first hole was huge BTW! We need some blocking like that too!

He's beast. We haven't seen anything like what is on this highlight video out of our running game all year. We went from having one of the most feared rushing attacks in the game to being absolutely limp, especially on third downs and goal line situations. It's so frustrating.

Peyton Hillis is a monster. It's sick that we're fielding what we're fielding for a running game while leaving Hillis in his street clothes on the sidelines.

Hillis who?

I'd love to ask McD what the hell he's thinking in regards to Hillis. What's really going on?

Peyton Hillis is a monster. It's sick that we're fielding what we're fielding for a running game while leaving Hillis in his street clothes on the sidelines.

Again, rumors have persisted that he's not quick to learn the playbook, and not quick to take to coaching. That was speculated from the time he left school.

Shanahan avoided starting him until he had to.

McDaniels isn't starting him.

Add that evidence up, and it's safe to assume there's more than meets the fan's eye with this situation.

McDaniels would start his own mother at RB if it helped him win. Hillis not getting carries tells me something is very wrong, and I wouldn't assume it's anyone's issue but Peyton's.

Maybe McD will be forced into a corner like Shanny was, and he'll see more carries. Time will tell. I really like him as a runner, but I don't believe that Josh McDaniels sits a guy if he's the best option, regardless of who was drafted where.

Notice how he quickly gets two hands on the ball every time he's about to get hit.

How smart do you have to be for this offense?

We scored 3 points last week!! Seems to me that we need to simplify things because this style Mcd is running isnt working.

Can't agree, here. Imagine if we would have asked Shanahan to scrap the West Coast Offense and install a simplified offense. We would have never seen the team develop into a SB champion.

Buckhalter and Moreno are both averaging big YPC's in our system. (5.5 and 4.2) That's a very productive average per rush.

Our low rushing totals right now are likely more a result of being behind in games. I didn't hear anyone complaining about the running game when we were 6-0.

I'd rather see this team go through the growing pains now than flip-flopping styles and backs and never getting into a real rhythm.

If we keep games within 7-10 points, I think you'll see a productive running game from us.

I'm sorry but what is so difficult about this offense the wr routes don't look hard, the blocking doesn't look hard, throwing the ball doesn't look hard, running doesn't look hard, so what the hell makes it so hard?

I know they have to lineup right and execute what they lineup to do but comeon these guy's have been playing football since peewee it's still football

Shanahan simplified his offense for Plummer and got us to the AFCCG. He always tailored his offense to his players and got the most out of them. It is why he is such a great offensive mind. To bad he couldn't do the same on defense.
