Oh BS. Give us all a break. He has won and will win. We won games last year we had no business winning because of him. We also lost some games we shouldn't have because of him. But to say he is a loser is plain ignorant.

Did you watch the bears/niners game last week? I didnt think so

No team in history has not won its division after a 3.5 game lead. No team in history has not made the playoff after starting 6-0. McD's team is about to make history. Sadly, is not the type of history it seemed like a month ago, nor the type of history his arrogance assumes. He is still better than the other rotten fruit from belicheat's tree, so I hope he will just continue to learn and improve.

Really? This is worse than I thought....and our stadium is EMPTY of emotion--I hope that Bowlen is taking note...........

Looks like a starving man with his last loaf of bread

Yep Moreno is running with some urgency. Too bad Knowshown can't run with a lead blocker, he would be nasty.

On his longest run today Larson thru a lead block that broke open the running lane. Just saying.

No, really, they're not. Favre is a winner, Cutler is a loser.
Cutler has played better than Favre at this point in his career.
It's not just about ability and numbers. It's about getting it done at crunch time, making plays when they're most needed. Cutler has never been able to do this.
Cutler has been among the best QBs in the 4th Qtr for two years running (including this yr with a lousy team and OC). He has led his teams back to an opportunity to win in all their losses but 2. I would say that is performing at crunch time.

seriously....no offense you two...but no one gives a fat rats ass about cutler right now when the current broncos are getting their throats ripped out right now

You are 100% correct, but the greater point is that this team needs a QB that can stretch the field and avoid the rush.

Dink and dunk is great and all, but it a)kills the run game b)puts way too much wear and tear onto the receivers and c)looks much more effective statistically than it actually is. Not throwing interceptions can also mean not taking enough risks that can lead to big plays and keep defenses honest.

Now the defense is getting worn down and scored on routinely, but that is much more a result of the offense being unable to sustain drives than anything else

Elway carried teams on his back. Anyone who makes such comparisons really should not be involved in serious football discussions.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Turner has outcoached McDaniels in the 2nd half and McDaniels pretty much sealed the loss for us. The players in the first half sucked a$$ sure, but McDaniels has been just as putrid.

You don't go for it on 4th down when our offense is red HOT under Orton when we're 4 yards from pay dirt but you take a risk with an inept, awful, and league worst SPECIAL TEAMS?

Hear that folks, the Defense has worn down over the course of the season. The defense is a beaten entity and we still have 6 games left to play.

We've been out scoured 68-17. Pathetic.

It's because we've had a bottom 3rd offense from GAME 1. It starts with the QB and the coach.

So did we get a upgrade or downgrade at coach?

Are you serious with this? Our team couldn't even compete against the chargers in that must win at the end of last season. Today, with a gimpy starting QB who shouldn't be in the game, we would have had a chance if we didn't sh*t the bed in the red zone. The Simms fumble hurt us, the Moreno fumble killed us. Don't put all the blame on the coach.

Fouts is smoking crack if he thinks Orton is the Bronco future.:giggle:

I think you're smoking crack if you think Orton is the problem. I seriously doubt McD will draft a QB early... and if he doesn't, who do you think will be better than Orton? You've seen a QB suck two weeks in a row now and his name is Chris Simms.

Nothing to cheer about in over a month, what an embarrasment

Just depressing. Though at least I dont feel the urge to punch walls this time around like I did after last game. I kinda do wish this was the last game of the season so I don't have to watch this crap any more. I'd like to watch good broncos football, but i forgot what that's even like.

Maybe this does happen to other teams, but is it me or does it seem that we are the only team in the league that consistently starts well only to completely collapse by week 10?

We don't need McDaniels out of there, but we do need a offensive coordinator. Since it looks almost cetain that Weis is out at N.D, perhaps it's time to offer him a job and see if we can get him to salvage the ineptitude that is offensive play calling.

Either that, or if Kubes gets fired, give him a job.

He is very offensive as a coordinator.

Look, his job is to be head coach. Not to be calling the offensive plays. Moreno proved in the first series that he could dominate the running game. Yet they pretty much abandoned what was effective. Then you pull Simms, putting yoiur bottom third of the NFL quarterback (who is already injured) at risk. If you were going to do that, put him in from the beginning.

I am not here to piss in your captain crunch. I do not think that I come across as complaining so much as expressing a desire for the offense to be more effective. I do not like the knee-jerk reaction to attack those who find fault and want progress to take place, to question their fandom.

I think McDaniels will turn it around. I think that maybe he got a little overconfident after the streak and needed something like this to get back to earth.

The run game has been neglected, maybe he realizes that the zbs wasn't worth tinkering with and reintroduces it. Where is Hillis? Why does Sheffler fade in and out of the game plan? Why can't anybody ever hit Royal in stride?

Another silver lining- I think that keeping Nolan here for a few years is a must, and this losing streak has probably cemented this.

This team deserves a lot of criticism right now, coach included. But the coach isn't singularly at fault with the execution failures of the players.

The one thing we have seen over the last 4 weeks is that this team is EXACTLY like the team last year.

Everything is fine as long as smokes and mirrors are working, but as soon as we have to play on a level playing field we get beaten by all the teams who will make the playoffs and we even have problems against teams who are nowhere near the playoffs.

The one thing more than anything that stands out to me is that we have abandoned what was working, we are bringing no serious pressure and for some reason we are now playing a lot of conservative zone defense leaving our cornerbacks well behind the recievers. That is exactly what got Slowick fired and what cost us the season last year, we generate no pressure and we make it very easy for the recievers to get open with no danger of the QB getting picked off.

Since the bye week we have lost the turnover battle 4 straight weeks and the pressure battle 4 straight weeks, our QB has been under pressure for many plays and have had to look for outlets, while the other teams guy happily sits for 4, 5, 6 or more seconds without any pressure and waits for someone to get open.

This is about being out coached and out performed.

The one thing that does seem clear is that last year was not Cutlers fault, Shanahans fault or Slowicks fault, it was because the talent level of the team just isn't there to be competitive and it is becoming apparent that despite 5 picks in the first 2 rounds it hasn't changed.

I disagree. The defense is better and the offense is much worse. And I hate the new scheme.

This years Broncos are in danger of having an epic melt down and even in danger of losing our last 10 games! That would be an NFL record after going 6-0!

Problem the Broncos are going to run into and what we fans should be concerned about is that even the Raiders and Chiefs are showing they are capable of scoring 20 plus points! While our offense is proving they can barely muster 10-17 points!

The reality is, this team is in trouble and its setting up to be the most embarassng seasons in the Broncos 50 year history.

Beef didn't have a business when we shyt canned shanahan and cutler ( had plenty of time to post) then started a business for 6 games then went out of business after the 3rd loss ( now has plenty of time to post)

Stop whining.

People are going to post negative things when you get blown out at home by the Chargers following a terrible loss to the Redskins.

Get mad at the crappy offense, lame playcalling, and horrendous QB play, not at posters on a message board.

Don't get mad - just admit that your team & fanbase suck & are pitiful impostors.

Unfortunately, you are right. We don't have a coach or a QB who can dig us out of this. The saddest part of all if this is that we get excited when Orton drives down the field. The reality is that he can't do it with any level of consistency. Anyone who believes otherwise needs to take the orange glasses off. Do yourself a favor and check out the O stats each week. This team cannot score.

Enjoy these last 5 yrs--because you will be AWFUL for another 10 yrs --LIKE YOU ALWAYS ARE. and your 'fan' base--is horrid--like a fickle teenage boy who gets a new video game--he plays it for a few weeks until the next one comes out...........you do have great beaches!

Not sure why so many people are bagging on Orton. He seemed like the only guy who manned up today. This would have been a close game if he was healthy. Your coach and your defense definitely have issues but Orton somewhat impressed me again today.

Really? How many touchdowns did he have? Come on man - you're settling and that is it. I'm sick of settling for average.

It's a fantastic, passionate fanbase, one of the best in the league. San Diego's fanbase is embarrassing in it's overall apathy.

Norv Turner will never win anything as a head coach, and neither will San Diego.

I do think that it's amusing that you have come in here tonight to troll though, good luck to you

Don't live in CA - in fact, I live close enough to you to have attended the Giants/chargers game last week.

Thankfully I don't live in that shi.thole known as NYC, but I am on the east coast.

I've been "playing this video game" for a lotta years & will continue to play it, good or bad.

And I'll be here every week after the rest of your losses to remind you what a bunch of flash-in-the-pan punks you all are.

So go ahead, cowgirl - ride on that. :cowgirl:
