Of course we do. It's not even debatable. Look at the stats. 200 yards passing in the first half, and none in the second.

Gosh, I wonder.

Kyle Orton is a much better quarterback than a whole lot of people around here give him credit for. We definitely win with Orton in all the way through.

Umm. The offense was stalled before Simms even came in. The second half collapse is now old hat after the last few weeks.

Do we win this game Orton, more than likely.

What are you talking about? They scored 17 pts in the first half and had their best drive of the day right before the half.

Insanity.

The QB position in Denver is a black hole. We're going to come out of this season with the exact same questions we had coming into it.

Who's the long term QB?

Orton's a free agent. Simms sucks. Brandstater is a 7th round pick.

Denver scouts better start hitting up the college trail and checking out some young signal callers.

We'd have won with me as the starter second half.

Orton didn't even play in the 2nd half of the game. So how could the offense be stalled before Simms came in?

You've got to be kidding me... Orton was awesome the entire first half. He missed one throw - to Royal. Yes, he should have hit that. Otherwise, he was fantastic. I can't believe how people see what they want to when watching Orton. It's like you guys have blinders on.

I'd rather see the Wild Horses every snap (including any 2nd or 3rd & longs) than see Simms ever again under center.

At the same time it's hard to make excuses when the Skins were missing multiple starters, particularly on offense.

They obviously didn't score enough in the lockerroom during halftime. Orton must've been hogging all the local skanks.

He tried; it didn't take. Hence, the lump of crap that is Chris Simms.

First time in history I've ever seen a "+1" to a post that has had 10 people openly mock. Good stuff.

Betts is actually a better back than Portis at this time in his career. Portis has nothing left in his tank. I would have liked to see Portis healthy, would have helped the D.

Betts is actually a better back than Portis...

That's possible. But they were also missing Cooley and 2 or 3 O-linemen.

Kyle Orton: 135.7 QB rating.

Chris Simms: 7.5 QB rating... no, not 75, which is pretty bad... 7.5

That rating was 95% Brandon Marshall and the offensive line. I could have thrown a 50 yd bomb on the fly like Orton did.

I also could have screwed up the last long pass to Royal which would have been 6 pts like Orton did.

Orton isn't anything special. We'll be continuing our search for a QB into the offseason... AGAIN.

This post makes me want to hit things... You seem like a good dude, but c'mon!

I can't believe the lengths you are going to give Orton no credit. Did Cutler never benefit from Marshall's skill? Did Cutler never have a nice pocket to throw in? Does Brady never benefit from Randy Moss talent?

Orton was on pace for almost 400 yards and 4 touchdowns, and all you can say is, "I could have done it, only I would have been better." Seriously?

This team would not have lost this game with Orton playing QB. This team could win a playoff game or two with Orton at QB (depending on matchups). Super Bowl? I'm not sure. Maybe we need a new QB to be able to win games against "monster" defenses. But - the way you are discrediting him is insane. The guy has played very well this year.

Would have helped if the refs flagged the clear grab of Royal on that play.

Umm. The offense was stalled before Simms even came in. The second half collapse is now old hat after the last few weeks.

They had an 18 play 82 yard FG drive right before the half. Sure, a TD would have been better, but that hardly supports your assertion that "the offense was stalled before Simms even came in." Also, 3-13 for 13 yards and 2 INTs is not simply a stall....that is epically bad. Hell, if Simms had merely "stalled" the offense instead of that abortion of a performance he gave, we probably would have won.

You used to be a good poster, but since the Cutler trade you have gone off the deep end. Just an absolutely stupid take.
