Fool's never learn. I'm sure his cult of asskissers will come out whining in force. Boo frickin' hooo.

Would've been funnier if they only fined him a buck.

Actually, you're right....that would've finally been funny.

The attention brought on by Ochocinco's stunts are more valuable to him than $10k here, $20k there. Its a crying shame when media whoring is costing you six figures plus... but hey, I'm not a multi-millionaire.

from Chad's Twitter: in fact I'm gonna match the fine and donate it to a good cause(league has enough)

I hope they fine him for that.

Between Chad's $20K, Cutler's $20K and Mike Smith's $15K fines, the NFL may be able to make up for the lack of Jacksonville Jaguar ticket sales.

Ochocinco is the "Harlem Globetrotter" of the NFL. I have no problem with him clowning around during a GAME...

Maybe, but they'll still blackout the game to punish the fans.

Well worth it. Carry on Chad.

I actually think you are right on this one. I dont condone his practice but the publicity he gets is worth the 20k. People like him and he is very likable. I think he is foolish but otherwise he does it for marketing ploy so he is becoming a mad genius. He deserves the fine and he will gladly pay it. More jerseys will be sold of "Ocho Cinco".

I love when old people bash guys like Chad.

We get it. You're old, you're super serious about everything, and hate amything that is new or out of your comfort zone.

Maybe next week Chad will just say "thank you massah" and will get on your good side. Or maybe he'll just say nothing because the field hands should be seen and not heard.

Asskisser attack #1, done on the usual grounds....disliking Johnson's clown act is racist and means I'm old ::)....yeah, that's it.

Yawn, NEXT!

Weird, that description sounds a lot like one of the political parties in this country.

Adam Schefter said on his twitter the other day that NFL fines are tax deductible, since they're charity donations.

The NFL is definitely the No Fun League.

Good to know they are charity donations.

Pretty sure he said you're super serious about everything and can't stand anything out of your comfort zone.

Where are you getting the racist part?

I think his analogy is probably pretty spot on, but I don't know how old you are.

Stupid, but I guess if it goes to charity no big deal. I thought it was pretty funny.

Wrong, as anyone here who's met me IRL (and there have been quite a few) can attest to.

Where are you getting the racist part?

I'm sorry, you must've missed the "massah" and field hands being seen and not heard stuff in his quote.

probably the "yes massah" part. But hilarious, nonetheless. Ha!

Idiots like hogan eat this stuff up. That's why they make threads about it, so they have something to do and can feel important.

I for one miss the TD celebrations. The league should lighten up a tad.

Even though I found it funny, I'm with the NFL on this one. Joke or not, bribery is a big no-no.

It's pocket change for him anyway.

Idiot? I'm crushed :(

First thread I've made about the incident. If I didn't do it, someone else surely would've because it's important to keep all the closet Bengals fans on this site informed about their favorite player.

I broke up the Cutler thread log jam at the top of the board, that was pretty idiotic of me, I'll make an apology thread later on.

Uhh, I think you should first make a thread with a poll asking if you should make that apology thread.

The league should just lighten up. It's entertainment. It's a game. It's supposed to be a little fun.

Good for the league. It may be small change to him now, but when his career is over and he continues living large, he'll wish he had those many 10's of thousands of dollars he pissed away.

I think the league had to fine him since he actually used the word bribe when he did the stunt but I think they should have just finned him like $1000 or something. It wasn't any big deal and everybody in the entire world knew it was for fun. Fining him $20K makes the NFL look like idiots.

I don't really care for his "entertainment" stunts but they don't bother me either. If he was a player doing this stuff but didn't bring a game with it, that would be sad, but the dude can play.

Chad Ochocinco is hilarious

I love how the NFL admonished the guy that gave Chad the buck.

The dude was just doing his job...Chad walks up and asks him for a dollar and he coughs it up to him without know what he intended....and the NFL feels they have to formally 'yell' at him. Then tell him that they are going to allow him to keep his contracting job.

Amazing.
