These last two weeks have left a bad taste in my mouth... also Cutler played too well the last game despite the loss.

Here's hoping for a 49ers blowout and 3 INT's from Cutler.

Too well? He played so well Fox cut from the Bears to go to a Tampa Bay game.

Nice stats, but that game was absolutely out of reach before he did anything against a defense that was just trying to get the game over as fast as possible.

Cutler and the Bears offense put up 7 points in the first half against Arizona, when the game was still a contest of sorts.

He put up some nice stats against a defense that pretty much switched off the second half. Until the game got to within two scores that is, when he proceeded to throw the pick that put the game away for good.

Jay needs to start playing more consistently. The offensive line is poor, no doubt, but regardless he's not playing like a guy you give up two 1sts and a solid starting QB for.

Tonight is massive for the Bears. They've got Philly and Minnesota the next two games after tonight, 4-7 would be a real possibility if tonight doesn't go well for them. The pressure would be really on Jay then, I wonder how patient the Bears fans will be with him if the season gets away from them. Looking at their schedule, I see one gimme win left for them. The rest of their schedule is far from easy, though they go to Detroit on final day.

A top 10 pick for us next season is a real possibility.

pregame was awesome, deion talked about what ive been saying all year: something to the effect of "why when a QB struggles do we make excuses that all the people around him are the problem? why cant it just be that the QB is not playing well?"

they all pretty much agreed that cutler isnt playing well and even compared him to jeff george. deion said that people love cutler because he can make all the throws, but what else has he done, hes never had a winning season, won a playoff or bowl game. then when mariotti talked, the first thing he said was cutler can make all the throws.

SF is a lot like US, they are a QB away from really scaring some people. Our defense is better, and our Oline is WAY better, but the same style of smash mouth keep away style, need a playmaker QB to carry them, and bail them out of bad situations. Please hold for Andrew Luck please...:sunshine:

Cutler has better #s than Manning did at this point in his career.

I said draft picks, not players. Denver in affect wasted a draft pick on him, and so did the niners on smith in comparison for what they got. Either YOUR making judgments, or you can't read. I'm on the record as someone who LIKES Jay Cutler.

WOOOT!

There's a dirty little secret on Cutler in the NFL now, I think. His accuracy takes a HUGE nosedive in the red zone, and he starts forcing things. Teams have started trying to weather the running game in the first two downs, and then either force Chicago to settle for a field goal or get the ball outright.

I don't know that you can explain it any other way.

8 red zone picks in his last 13 games now. Brady has 6. IN HIS CAREER.

OMFG Safety had that INT off the deflection #5 and the win would have been awesome.

1. why didnt they kick a FG?
2. it cutler comes back for the win, he will be the greatest QB to ever walk this earth. ignore the fact that the reason they are down is because of him and him alone.

Probably because if he misses the FG, Bears get it at the 40 with 2:47 left.
