Here is my concern if I am Chicago. They are taking on the personality of the petulant child Cutler. They used to be disciplined, solid football playing, and grity players.

Now they are getting Personal fouls left and right and always complaining, collapsing when the going gets rough. Cutler has fully infected this team with his suck!

They calmly note the center exchange problem, but claim it's on the center (unlike that other guy who got ran out of town).

Ex Bears qb on show still going on about Cutler's 'talent' but how he's gotten into bad habits. AWWWW....

Ever since 2005, us fans have not stood behind either of you with solidarity. Now that we've moved forward and gave Jay our unwavering support, we should have gave both of you that common courtesy.

Kyle - You got us into the playoffs on your rookie year and you weren't that bad last season.

Rex - That was some roller coaster ride where we got to the Super Bowl. At least when you play horrible, the Bears still won (outside of the Green Bay game)

Kyle and Rex - You are not bad QBs. You were not franchise QBs but you guys were great compared to Jay.

Sincerely,

They are starting to get it over there. I saw quotes like these

'He did the same thing in Denver'
'Lots of picks and losing in Denver'
'Look at the tape, he would of had many more picks if BM doesn't bail him out'
'There is a reason Denver cut him loose'

Hilarious!Hilarious!Hilarious!

Some posters on that board want Hanie to start and let Jay review film and grow up...

That says a lot about Brandon Marshall's ability. I'm very pleased he now appears to be committed to helping the Broncos win...

I shouldn't say he WOULD have beat them, he DID beat them. Earlier in the year.

Pretty much Cutler made himself indefensible though so you shant be hearing from me.

Bottom line, they need a QB guru to work with him. Lovie clearly has busted several other QB's and the talent around Jay sucks. It's a recipe for disaster and it has been.

Nothing but joy on my side, I hope Chicago goes 4-12 to finish the season. Better pick for us.

If this scenario works out not only do we get a high draft choice, but I hope a 4-12 season for the Bears in 09....ushers in the Shanahan era in Chicago for 2010.:sunshine:

If it keeps him away from the Chargers or Chiefs, then I see at as a good thing. Hell, I'd like to see him do well on any team in the NFC.

"And one of the worst performances by a so-called franchise quarterback ever. Has to be. I mean, how many times can you throw interceptions in the red zone?
All the time, apparently, if you’re Cutler.
The first time Cutler drove the Bears into the red zone against an awful San Francisco team, he ended an 18-play possession by throwing a pick to the fattest guy on the field.
The last time Cutler drove the Bears into the red zone against an awful San Francisco team, he ended a 16-play possession by throwing a pick to, well, who cares. It was Cutler’s fifth interception, his 17th on the season, most in the league. Congratulations.
It would’ve been hard to find a quarterback worse than San Francisco’s Alex Smith, but the Bears had just the guy.
We thought Cutler was going to be the Bears’ first franchise quarterback since Sid Luckman about 60 years ago. Turns out, he’s the first Bears quarterback to throw at least four interceptions in a game twice in the same season since Bill Wade 47 years ago.
This was the kind of game Cutler is supposed to win. That’s why he was brought in. Cutler had a chance to take over this one. Instead, he ended it badly. Ended the Bears’ season badly, as well."

From Steve Rosenbloom's Chicago Tribune blog. The bloom, as they say, is off the rose.

Huge next 2 games for the Bears.

They could for all intents and purposes be knocked out of the playoffs by Week 12.

Loss to Philly next week means they'll have lost to every 2nd place team in the NFC so far (SF, Atl, GB, and Philly). 6 losses probably won't get them in as a WC coming out on the short end of any head-to-head tiebreaker.

Another loss the week after that @Minny, and it would eliminate the Bears from the division if the Vikings win the two games leading up to that (home vs. Detroit and Seattle; they'll win those games).

Fact is, Orton walked in with pretty good offenseve personell. And we ordered up 3 new backs and Gaffney.

One thing that pissess me off is how we never brought Graham in to help block the interior the last 2 games. Or the worthless Quinn.

after Baltimore you knew they would attack the A gap, but we did nothing. Not a FB, not a TE, NOTHING.

But whatever. God luck with Haynesworth this week. It's the only matchup problem I see.

it's actually a great quality in a quarterback to NOT get overly emotional and wilt after a bad series or a bad game. All of "The Great Ones" at QB are tough mentally. They have nerves of steel. Cutler has that.

These people who question this must be people who live menial lives and have no concept of what it's like being in the spotlight - the epicenter of attention - in front of a national audience of millions of people watching a big game on National TV. It ain't like flippin' burgers for a living.

Cutler is going to be a GREAT quarterback for us. Fans need to appreciate what we have here, and realize we DO have to give Cutler SOMETHING to work with before he's going to be great. Things like an offensive line, a running game, an OC with half a brain, more seasoned/mature/talented WR's, a Center who can hike the ball......you know...the BASICS.

Only a half-wit would think ANY quarterback could be successful with the clowns we've surrounded Cutler with here.

wow, its like deja vu all over again

Here is my concern if I am Chicago. They are taking on the personality of the petulant child Cutler. They used to be disciplined, solid football playing, and grity players.

Now they are getting Personal fouls left and right and always complaining, collapsing when the going gets rough. Cutler has fully infected this team with his suck!

I dunno, I get a kick out of seeing him scream, whine, and stamp his feet before waving his arms like a windmill. Those hand flips to nobody are classic.

Oh, BTW for historians. Grossman, 1-0 against Cutler. Denver, game ending drive for win. Just sayin.' Hilarious!

Cutler has played what 12+ years of QB in high school , college and now the pros and he is still missing wide open WRs in the end zone.

Go back and look at the BUF game and compare that to the Philly game on Sunday. At this point in his career he needs to make those throws and win the game. That's what a "good" NFL QB should be able to do
