I am anxious to see Baker. I think Reid will be playing more DE behind Smith so Moss is active at OLB. I hope this means we are really going heavy on the blitz.

Peyton Hillis.... hate to say it, but its the beginning of the end for him. Does this mean Jarvis and the big Rookie DT Baker are active tonight?

Peyton is dealing with a personal issue and has to skip the game. Im surprised to see Bruton inactive though

I think Bruton is a little banged up if i'm not mistaken. But Hillis had an emergency last year also and miss a game. Hope everything is alright with him and his family.

What's the deal with Hillis? I know he's in the dog house but the injury report says he didn't practice and that it wasn't injury related... Is he pulling a Marshall? Figures. Let a fullback find out that he has good hands and decent running ability and it just goes straight to his head.

Bruton has a groin injury. Means only 8 active DB's including Law.

An Arkansas site (thecabin.net) had a story up last night about him missing the game tonight. I think thecabin.net is a Conway, Arkansas site, where Hillis is from. He's in Conway attending a funeral.

interesting selection of actives tonight. I expected the third TE to be used to balance out the formation with Steelers 3/4 defense and Harris out

I am calling it. Moss gets 5 sacks and puts Big Ben out of the game

Sucks that Bruton is out. His speed is very useful on special teams.

Elsid, i expect McDaniels to be running a lot of pass patterns through the OLB's... they're gonna try to get Harrison and Woodley out in space I think.

With Lawrence Timmons out, I expect that they'll have to take on a little more pass responsibility.

Sucks losing Harris. His athletic ability and toughness is going to be missed this game.

It seems like no Quinn is a sign they'll be spreading them out big time. I think teams give up on running against the Steelers to quickly. I wouldn't mind going 2-TE a lot and attacking the edges.

After I posted, I figure we see a lot of spread tonight. Keep the steelers in nickle/dime formation most of the night.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Denver attack Pittsburgh much the same way Baltimore attacked us last week, especially with some of the injury issues they have on defense and the thin air.

I'm extremely worried about Pitt attacking the A-Gaps. I think that there might a problem with the blocking scheme when comes to protect in that area.

On that note did Moss have a decent game against Pitt in the past?

With Moss....the only good thing he has done so far for this team is STs and without Jack, that's why I'd assume he's playing...

In 07 I think he managed to not suck against Pittsburgh

So by his standards it was an epic game

He followed it up though by breaking his leg in practice

Hopefully him or somebody can cover Heath also...

Thanks Br0nc0Buster

Hopefully we can see a repeat performance of not sucking!

(and maybe not breaking his leg...)
