The Denver Broncos started the season with a rookie head coach who set a Club record by going 6-0 before losing to the Oakland Raiders by double digits in game seven. Denver didn't score a point until the fourth quarter in garbage time.
The following week they bounced back from the dreadful game when they played the Pittsburgh Steelers and beat them 21-7 at home. They would go on to win their next five games, finishing 12-2 and making the playoffs and eventually play in New Orleans for the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately that is true. I really have been underwhelmed by Coach Priefer. It's not like he ran a good unit in KC. I haven't seen anything outside of two good returns that suggests he's the guy we need back there. Even in San Diego we gave up a return to Sproles. It's frankly annoying.
STs are made with your recent draft picks it will take a few drafts to improve the unit. Surpassingly it is the hardest unit to build.

In 1977 it had been 7 years since KFC won a SB.
7 years is a long time but nothing like 38 years, that is almost 2 generations and 4 DECADES!
