Oh man, just invited to a neighborhood Halloween Costume party. I didn't feel like doing anything this year but feel obliged since it's the parents of my daughters best friend down the street. I don't have a costume and I'm not going somewhere to buy one.

First thing I thought of was my cutler jersey, a diaper (over some pants), pacifier... but my littler girl says 'don't you dare embarrass me like that daddy'... so it's back the drawing board.

Any quick, simply easy suggestions out there?

don't go but have your daughter tell them you are there but because you came as a ghost they can't see you. Two birds....

Put on some ripped jeans an A' shirt a dirty cap and a 6 pack (better yet a 12 or 18 pack) of natty lights and go as a redneck. Works around hear year round.

I found an old yellow T-shirt. A nifty roll of black electrical tape to make zig zags around the bottom and presto..... I'm Charlie Brown!

I'm still going to take Arks 12 pack suggestion. Wouldn't be right for Charlie Brown to show up empty handed!

I went all out LMAO!

Well Charlie Brown might could step up to BudLight. :) This holiday is a pain in the ass as a parent was so much better before. On a plus note I just gave my neighbors kids a bag of candy and got hug rushed.

Didnt dress up this year to scare the neighborhood kids because the USC, Ducks and World Series is all going on at the same time. Wife takes the kids around and I am on the Mane and watching the sports. Not too bad.

What??? It is your responsibility as a parent to embarrass your child. Regardless, no matter what you wear you're going to embarrass her.

I have lousy neighbors, out of a street of 10 houses on the end of our street to the intersection only 3 of us gave out candy. 3 of the houses that didn't hand out candy have kids that go trick or treating but thier parents turn the lights off and pretend no ones home. Jerks !!!

I had a total of two knocks on my door.

That means lots of candy for me to keep!

I had the best candy in town the last three years and nobody, not one kid came by. Tonight I figure why buy candy I never eat for kids that never come. So I get like three groups of kids.

Hope they like the cans of albacore tuna I handed out

I had a weird night. So I went to this Halloween party in Downtown. This one woman that I used to date asked me earlier in the week if I heard of any parties. So I told her about the one in Downtown, but she said that she was going somewhere else. I took a date with me to the party. Now, these two girls kind of know each other through my facebook page (facebook makes it tough to date multiple women at the same time, these damn chicks keep looking me up) . So I'm on my way to the party with my date and the girl I used to date sends me a text asking if I was coming to the party, meaning she was already there. I was like damn. Then I was like screw it, I'm going anyways. So I show up, and about 30 minutes after I'm there, the other girl walks by me and kind of gives me an elbow to get my attention. She saw me with the other girl so she didn't say anything. Then I was like "hey, how's it going" and gave her a huge, in front of my date. I then introduced them to each other, like a gentleman should. lol. The girl I used to date always has her camera and she's always taking pictures, so she took a picture of my date and I. I thought the whole thing was funny. lol

I went in a dark grey three piece suit with a black tie with my black chucks with black laces ( I often wear chucks with suits). When people asked me what I was dressed as I told them that I was dressed as Jason Douglas Lewis. Yeah, it's arrogant, but so what. It's my world. lol

I think they bussed kids into our neighborhood last night. I don't think my doorbell has rung as often in the last 6 months. One entourage included about 14 ghouls and goblins.
The best one was a girl dressed up as a raider fan. when she came to the door I told my wife to get a few stalks of celery.

Then I had one boy (about 10-11YO) who couldn't get over the RV in the driveway. He was like: "Now THAT's a Bronco Fan" and was grinning from ear to ear.

We finally turned off the lights at 9 to get some peace and quiet. (we had the carpet replaced yesterday and after doing the musical furniture thingy all day I felt as if someone had flogged me for the past ten hours).

This was the first time Kayla and Alexis got to go trick or treating house to house.

We went over to Parker to a friends' neighborhood and it was just like I remember when I was a kid. Kids were everywhere and people went trick or treating. Alexis, my two year old, she would walk up and knock and say twick or tweat (because "r"s are difficult for young children) and 90% of the people doubled her up because she was so cute. She dressed as Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street. Kayla went as a Candy Corn witch, and since we were in a group of a lot of kids, I think Kayla had her best Halloween yet.

Marissa didnt trick or treat but she was dressed up as a little flower.

I got in late last night and decided to change the clocks. I was so proud of myself for doing that until I realized this morning...

I set 'em all the wrong way!! DVD players, desk clocks, wall clocks, microwave and oven...turned on my Direct Tv and wondered what happened to the programming, and it was all like, DUH.

LOL, never do tasks late at night when slightly drunk.
