I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I thought it was worth pointing out:

Dallas @ Denver:
Austin: 8 Targets, 3 Receptions, 19 Yds, 0 TDs

Dallas @ KC:
Austin: 15 Targets, 10 Receptions, 250 Yds, 2 TDs

Atlanta @ Dallas:
Austin: 8 Targets, 6 Receptions, 171 Yds, 2 TDs

Everyone assumes Kansas City is the game they started to utilize Austin, but these stats show they knew what they had going into the Denver game but we just shut him down. He had more targets than any other Dallas receiver in that game.

Nice.

Austin is blowing up. Interesting to recollect the criticism Romo got for targeting him on those final 2 plays.

Wasn't Austin playing a different receiver position in the Denver game?

I don't know, I don't have the game recorded or I'd check.

The blitz was coming from the left, too. The Cowboys have Romo throw away from the blitz in those scenarios. The Broncos knew this and planted Champ on Hurd, forcing Romo to take those shots.
