Hey everyone! Just wanted to show this so that if any chargers fans out there moans abot the decision yo can sht them up..

Watch this video & pause it at exactly 1:51. You'll see that Stokes clearly catches the ball IN the endzone before falling out.

If you still have doubts take this into consideration, the ball is right above his left thigh and his thigh is INSIDE the endzone when he caught the pass so the ball must be breaking the plain!

Hope that clears things up and we can get rid of any lame excuses of how the refs 'gave us' the win with that call..

It should be working.. It's on nfl.com videos 'Kyle Orton Highlights vs Chragers'

Assuming I'm correct about the rule the stupid announcers never explained this correctly last night. They kept talking about where he was when his feet came down but it was a TD because he caught the ball in the endzone before landing outside of it. The official also should have explained it better when he announced the replay ruling.

Nice catch. The ball was in. At worst, there's no way the refs can say there was evidence to overrule. NFL.com videos take forever (or sometimes just 5 min).

It's no different then a catch along a sideline and the receiver gains posession of the ball "out of bounds" and both feet touch before momentum carries the receiver out of bounds.

The throw by Orton and catch by Scheffler is a great highlight clip.

My thoughts also, they always seem to have a goal line camera in position.

THere is a better angle on that coming from an overhead camera which showed him clearly in the endzone.

I've been asking this for a decade. Why, in the great world, they don't have a goal line cam in this day and age is just beyond me.

Update Java maybe ... and download Shockwave too.

But first try speedtest.net and see how fast you're going.

That's exactly right ... perfect explanation.

What struck me most about that video was the time he gets to throw ... we might have some drive-blocking issues in the misddle of our line, but the pass-protection is incredible.

Updated Java....I don't thin it's a speed issue cause I have no problem with video from anywhere else, but I can test it i guess

The ref did say that the call was confirmed, not just "nothing to see to overturn."

Yes, and he probably should have explained it better. "The ball was caught in the endzone and then brought out of the endzone. The player scored when catching the ball in the end zone. The play stands as called." Did I earn my stripes? Or do I need to be at least 58 years old to get those?

Yea...especially after the Holmes catch against Baltimore last year. You would have thought that they'd have a camera right on the goal line for this exact sinareo!

It would have been first and goal from the 6" line had the ruling been overturned............

All I can say is that it was sweet to have St. Stokely back in full health and in action! It's a new start every week! It's kinda cool to watch!

Which would have made the 4th down call very interesting. Do you kick the FG and go up by 7? Or do you go for the throat and put them away?

Based on our bad our short yardage offense has been coupled with the excellent play of the D, I kick the FG and put the game in the defenses hand to win. Espcially with how they were finally getting after Rivers in the 4th quarter.

What the hell is all the fuss? I don't see anybody complaining and it looked lagit the first time and each time they replayed it.

And it wouldn't have mattered anyway. We still would have kicked a FG and then our defense had their last stop and game over.

This is a non-issue.

you know it drives me crazy that we have a camera suspended in the air that can move and rotate 360 degrees and we can't get a damn camera shot down the goal line. Every stadium should have a camera shooting down both sides of the goal line, not on the 5 yard line. Drives me crazy
