Hope this isn't a repost.

Yah, SD is really one to talk about "trash talking once a game is in hand", Phyllis Rivers the queen of loudmouth douchebags

http://www.nctimes.com/sports/football/professional/nfl/chargers/article_e0c3cee1-9bd0-5351-9169-9aca254a6d67.html

SAN DIEGO ---- Monday night's clash between the Chargers and rival Denver got started a little early. A pregame jawing session turned into a full-scale war of words between the squads during warm-ups.

The Broncos walked on to the field en masse, traveling right by a few stretching Chargers players. It's unclear exactly how the fracas began, but outside linebacker Shaun Phillips and Broncos defense lineman Kenny Peterson were at the center of the scrum.

That attracted players from all over the field, including several Chargers impact players. Shawne Merriman removed Phillips from the middle and took over as chief "negotiator" along with inside linebacker Stephen Cooper.
"They came out and were incredibly disrespectful," Merriman said. "We couldn't just let it go. Not in our own building."

The trash-talking session lasted more than a minute before both sides went about their pregame business. Quarterback Phillip Rivers and Merriman continued the conversation a bit longer, but Denver got the last word with a 34-23 victory at Qualcomm Stadium.

The trash-talking continued on Denver's end once the game was in hand, which left a bad impression on some Chargers.

"They had a lot to say," Phillips said. "I'm glad we'll meet again."

Weren't players from both teams huddled up after the game doing something like a prayer?

"They had a lot to say," Phillips said. "I'm glad we'll meet again."

The irony is killing me.

In other news, is there a team that whines more about the other teams trash talk after losses in big games? Going back to their playoff loss to the Pats, that's all they ever want to talk about after blowing a must win. Trash talk undoubtedly happens in every big game between rivals, but SD is apparently as soft off the field as they are on it.

This is exactly why the chargers never win the super bowl. I was laughing when people hype them up and it's really funny to always hear how they are the "most talented team."

They are a bunch of unprofessional pu$$ies that bitch and moan all the time. Such athletes never win anything. Professional teams will always take care of "talented" immature, undisciplined teams.

Chargers are done, and they were never going to win a super bowl anyways. How many rings do you have again San Diego? Effing losers, your quarterback symbolizes your organization. Too bad Tomlinson's career was wasted away in SD.

Loved the spike of the ball in Merriman's face, there you go roid boy. And the 5 sacks of Rivers, eat that dirt clown boy. I still don't think that team knows what hit them last night as they think they are coming to Denver and back up their talk. Please, if they were going to it would have happened last night, at home. Rivers was talking all kinds of trash about how many points they were going to put up, Reid did a little talking back. Then the Broncos gathered up "too close" to the Chargers (on purpose) and Phillips didn't like it so he tried to stand in the way while the Broncos were taking a lap and that's when the pushing started.

Rivers actually very talented and a great football player. A lot of QBS good passers, talented athletes, but just maybe not a great football player.

I think Rivers really is both. He's scrappy and talented at the same time and very competitive.

His eyebrows go into that scowl he gets. It's so annoying it makes him very unlikeable. He's real good though. Amazing Chargers had Brees, ditched him for Rivers. I mean most teams don't find one guy that good let alone 2 back to back.

I think Broncos should talk smack. Don't let Chargers fall into there little we are going to only worry about ourselves crap.

Orton should twitter him like Fri night saying the Broncos just voted and we wish we could play you every week. You are that fun to beat and your time is up.
