unconfirmed at this point

have it from sources that Dawkins took an injection in the hammy at half. Numbed it up and played through the 2nd half.

what a leader, true heart, grit and talent...

best signing in years....

Anybody but me see him jump up of the stretching table and start cheering his ass off to encourage the defense? and then again off the punt return? That guy a team freak all the way! What a F-ing Stud!!

Trainer:I think you tweaked your hammy, Dawk. You may need to skip the rest of the game...

Dawkins: Can I play without it? Cut it out.

Dawkins is the coolest football player I have ever seen as far as energy goes. I loved him in Philly and I thought he was over the hill when MCD signed him but he is a difference maker. Guy seems like a future topnotch coach. I can't find one negative about the guy.

Eagles fans were all sorts of pissed off when he was allowed to leave Philadelphia this past offseason. Now we all know why.

Hope he gets enough time to heal over the bye week and is ready to go against the Ratbirds.

The bar I frequent there is a huge Philly fan there and when I said what do you think about the loss of Dawkins he said well No more football talk.

I think most of us who are football fans had the same feeling when they say....."return is questionable" 99.9% of the time you dont see that player comeback and play, great player to have on the Broncos and what a leader.

Granted I was and still worry about his age. The man is just the definition of leadership and team first.

THe Philly game is going to be interesting. If the fans stick to the Orange-out in tribute to B-Dawk, it's going to be a home game for Denver.

:Broncos:

Trainer: No silly, it is attached to your leg.
Dawkins: Fine, cut my leg off then.

i love how stupid the Eagles front office is, because their loss is our gain.

Their fans are planning on wearing orange in tribute to dawkins. Hell, this Philly fan I know bought an orange dawkins jersey just for the game.

I get the same feeling watching Dawkins that I do watching guys like Tony Gonzalez or Ed Reed or Troy Palamalu... the feeling of, I wish these guys were Broncos. All of them are extraordinary playmakers and Gonzo, TP, and BDawk are great leaders to boot. Easy to root for those guys.

I love this guy's leadership, passion and playmaking abilities. The bye week comes at a good time for Dawkins. He should ready to suit up for the Ravens Nov 1.

Just think back to last year and the lousy Safeties we had, then watch Dawk become the Wolverine, this is just great stuff.

Dawkins didn't take the needle to numb his hammy... and if he did, you won't see him playing for several weeks.

When he was on the sideling he was drinking fluids like crazy. He might of cramped up. In that case he probably got some IV fluids during half time.

They even have a website. I'd love to see the Philly fans go through with this. I cant believe they let Dawkins walk.

You can tell this season is different than last year. Last year we had guys hurt every game. This year we get one guy with a slight injury, and it's right before 2 weeks off. Good stuff.

Bronco Warrior

Seriously the guy jumped off the Therapy tabvle in the middle of a stretch to cheer on the team..Twice! You guys notice that? I think that's why they let him go back in..he wasn't going to sit still anyway!! The guy is the epitome of Nolan's Old School Gangster Defense Mentality!

can you even take the needle for pulled muscle?

TheDave

can you even take the needle for pulled muscle?

Ehhh... You can take a cortisone or other pain killer shot, but it's suicide.

Trust me if he "took a needle" it was IV fluids.

There's about a dozen Eagles fans at the bar where I drink ... NONE were happy when we signed Dawkins!

I don't blame them. I'm glad we have him for at least two seasons, hopefully one more after that.

it was a cramp, it was most likely just saline. if it was a PULLED hammy, he would have fell, instantly. he just grabbed his hamstring slightly as he was slowing down.

They had to use kryptonite to get the needle in

/confuses superheroes...

and then Chuck Norris had to inject it. evenn with the kryptonite needle he was still to strong for an ordinary man to inject him
