douchey is most definitely a word. One who is douchey dabbles quite often in general douchebaggery and typically acts in a manner that would thus label him as a douche. Thus to act douchey is to act as if you were a douche.

I remember back in the day, people on the Omane would actually post articles about the Broncos and/or the up coming games and people would then compare weiners after that based on the position of the article. Anymore, it seems like people are too busy trying to see the size of Cutler's wang, they can no longer discuss the primary purpose of this board... that which is the Broncos.

I miss people posting a lot of Broncos articles throughout the year.

Bolts will struggle to find weakness in Denver D

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adam Schefter answers readers' questions nearly every day in his blog. Today, he's focusing on tonight's Monday Night Football matchup between the San Diego Chargers and the Denver Broncos. Have a query of your own? Submit it right here.

Q: Will the Chargers be able to throw anything at the Broncos they won't be able to handle? Coming off a bye week, at least you know San Diego will be prepared. I'd say familiarity would help, but this is a completely different Denver team than the one the Chargers have been playing the past few years. Is there a particular weakness they can exploit?

--Drew (Tucson, Ariz.)

To read what Adam thinks of the Chargers' chances Monday night, plus his thoughts on what's different about the 2009 Broncos and where LaDainian Tomlinson ranks among the current top NFL running backs, you must be an ESPN Insider.

A: Drew: The biggest plus the San Diego team has going for it is that it's a desperate team. But this is a big challenge. Denver has been terrific at making adjustments, especially entering the second half, so I give the coaching edge to Denver. The Broncos defense has been the best in football, but I know there are certain NFL people around the league who still question how good it really is. It's up to Philip Rivers and Co. to figure out where the Broncos are vulnerable. I'm not sure where that it is right now -- but maybe we'll see tonight.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: You and a lot of other analysts had the Chargers representing the AFC in the Super Bowl. Still like that pick? I think the problem comes down to coaching. Every year in preseason, people talk about how talented the Bolts are and then they're inevitably a disappointment. How much longer can they put up with Norv Turner?

--Rian (Jacksonville, Fla.)

A: Fair points, Rian. Am I allowed a mulligan on my preseason pick? Whiffed on that one. But that's not as bad a showing as this team this season. Hard for me to understand how this team can have so many talented players and underachieve. What's happening this season is just what happened last season; started slow, finished fast, but still underachieved. If it happens again, I think there could be people whose jobs are in trouble. But there still is a ways to go yet before we start firing Norv or anyone else there. Let's just wait a bit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What was the biggest change in the Josh McDaniels regime that has made the Broncos such a formidable team? Is it just the new personnel they brought in (namely Brian Dawkins) or is there really such a philosophical difference?

--Andy (San Clemente, Calif.)

A: Andy: The biggest change is the defense. Last year's defense was beyond horrendous. Most people around the league never thought the Broncos could rebuild and restore it so quickly. But Josh McDaniels hired Mike Nolan, who brought along a 3-4 scheme, and five new defensive starters. That has made a huge difference in this team. The offensive line -- the best young offensive line in football -- still is intact, and that is a big advantage. But now the Broncos have a defense that also has emerged -- at least for the time being.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Do you think if the Broncos started this season with a few losses instead of 5-0 the Brandon Marshall situation wouldn't have reached such a tidy conclusion?

--Ed (Boulder, Colo.)

A: Ed: Always say it, whether it's with Jim Zorn in Washington, Brett Favre in Minnesota or Brandon Marshall in Denver, But winning is the great deodorant. Any issues go away when teams win. Any issues morph when teams lose. It's really pretty simple. As long as a team is winning, like Minnesota and Denver are, then everyone is happy and life goes on. Had Denver lost some games early on, maybe Marshall would have quit in another practice or sounded off. But when the Broncos are winning and playing the way are, he is silenced. All's good. For now.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: Where do you rank LaDainian Tomlinson on your list of best RBs? A lot of my friends keep trying to tell me Adrian Peterson's better. That's true now, but LT is way past his prime. They'll say the same thing about the next great running back when AD slows down too.

--Mack (Tyler, Texas)

A: You're right, Mack. At one point, people praised LT the way they're praising AD. And it will change at some point, though not anytime soon. For now, AD -- and yes, he goes by AD, as in All Day, not AP -- is the best back in the game. And LT is in the latter years of what has been a tremendous career. These days, my top running backs would be AD, Maurice Jones-Drew, Steven Jackson, Michael Turner, Frank Gore, DeAngelo Williams and the Giants' combo of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw. Don't think I would take LT ahead of any of those guys today. But for years, LT would have been A1.

I remember back in the day people on the Omane were like posters who had a lot of opinions about a lot of stuff and some of it kinda related to the Broncos and it was sorta cool to read those posts... Anymore its just a lot of "douchey" crap instigated by people pretending to be french or something... as for the Broncos, it's no fun to talk about them because they are WINNING...

No Douchey is an acceptible usage. It's an adjective. "he's a little douchey."

Douchery is the middle english usage of the word in verb form, and can apply to a place where many douche's live. A Douchery, similar to a nunnery or an abby.

Douchebaggery is like shenanigans...for douche's.

Douche+adj/noun: Douchekateer, Douchenugget, etc.
