View Full Version : Beating San Diego could be big for playoff positioning

If Denver can beat San Diego it could be very important to getting that #1 seed. And the way Indy is playing I'd rather they come to Mile High to face us.

@ SD W -- Let's say we take this one
@ Balt W -- After a bye this is very doable
Pitt W -- At our place and Pitt looks average this year
@ Wash W -- They suck
SD W -- at home we can take 'em
NYG W? -- They may have been a bit exposed today
@ KC L -- We always have one stupid loss a season. I hate arrowhead. That being said, we SHOULD win this game too.
@ Indy L -- tough game on the road
Oak W
@ Philly L -- East coast trip late in the year is tough
KC W

So, if we are on top of our game 13-3 is within the realm of possibility. And I think that kind of a record gets us a bye. BUT, if we lose 2 of the next 3 (and that's extremely possible) we could drop to 11-5. So, with homefield advantage possibly on the line, I hope Denver goes in there and beats their @ss!

If we win, they'll be 2-3 against our 6-0

I'm not sure they could recover from that.

They'd would definitely have to win at Invesco, which seems unlikely.

Eh, I'm a fan, not a player. I don't have to take them one game at a time. That being said, I will enjoy and relish every victory this season just a little bit more than usual.

Clearly we will lose the next 11 games, Josh will be fired, the bears will feel so bad for us they trade Cutler back to us and Shanahan will be rehired after a much needed year off, and Slowik will be rehired, and both Boss Bailey and John Engleberger will be resigned.

4- 12 eh :-) So which game are we gonna give back? Cincy, Dallas? .. Not the Pats game that was just too sweet to forfeit after the fact.

The Pats. It's the right thing to do. They are the Team of Teams and we had the bad taste not to lose a tight one.

If we beat the Chargers we should be in a nearly rock solid position for our first playoff appearence in over 3 years.

Only Shanny could screw that kind of lead up and last I heard he's sitting on a couch at home polishing his long distant memories.

Thank God!!
