So they instantly blame the US and go the rhetoric route "you bastard american's did this and when we prove that you did..." I find this a bit hypocritical even if we were at the root of this (with this administration I doubt it) because of our repeated discoveries of evidence that Iran was arming, training and giving safe conduct to foriegn fighters in Iraq to attack US forces there.
I for one would welcome a covert war against the current Iranian regime...hold on I mean the Iranian government. However I just don't think our President would allow the US to conduct such a war or even minor aid and succor to an insurgency to occur. Liberals hate the CIA and have hamstrung them from getting results by thier normal methods (Yes I mean waterboarding, sleep deprivation and torture. This thread isn't about those topics so don't bother commenting to my words on that matter). Bottom line the Iranians are full of scite and in my opinion an insurgency are created by the current Gov in Iran's treatment of it's citizens following the disputed election recently

Flop,
Where have you been? The covert war against Iran started several years ago.
As for the CIA -- you must be kidding.

It's the CIA's fault Iran hates us in the first place, by overthrowing a popularly elected president and installing a brutal dictator. And now
clowns like you want the CIA to stick their hands into Iran's affairs again?

The Sistan-Baluchistan prosecutor said Abdolmalek Rigi, of the Sunni secessionist terrorist group Jundallah had accepted responsibility for the attack.

However it stirs the pot to claim US responsibility

Has the CIA ever claimed responsibility for a covert op?
Of course not. On rare occasions we learn about it later.
Their standard response at the time is deny. deny. deny.
