Well if you're going to throw an interception may as well do so inside your own 20 and allow your defense to force a 3 and out and punt.

Yes, if you are going to blow it, make up a good excuse for your coach. "Hey, I save my suckyness right when you fans are getting excited on a score." He will score when HE, the almighty, is ready to score.

Sorry... Ryan's arm just ain't strong enough.

Here's how this works.

If you have a major league gun you can throw 20 picks a year and be labled a gunslinger and franchise QB.

If like Ryan you have a suspect arm you are a game manager until you throw your 1st pick... at that point you become a journeyman QB.

That's just how it works... ;D

TheReverend
10-18-2009, 07:24 PM
No, I thought that WAS the point.

The point, as you stated it, was that the threads for Bear games are more active than the threads for Bronco games. We've given you reasons for that. And now that's not the point.

"Cutler is a winner!"

Well, actually, he's a .500 quarterback.

"But he's a winner! His defense lets him down all the time!"

Well, actually, he puts his defense in a bad position regularly.

"But he's a winner! His receivers are terrible!"

He had better receivers last year, and he still finished only .500.

"But his defense let him down!"

And so the circular logic continues.

The point, again, was that Bears threads are more active than Broncos threads. There are far MORE threads discussing the Broncos than there are for discussing the Bears.

Did you know there's also an early games thread that's very active? OMG!

Haven't you noticed I don't feel you're worth talking to yet?

I do wish SoCal would post again. Not that I want to subject him to the **** talk but games where I watch Cutler I think of 2 people, Buff and SoCal. Both quality posters even though they have bad taste in QB'S. Buff still posts but SoCal hasn't since week 1 of the season.

are Merriam-Webster.com paying you for each time you use the word "monolithic"? you're not really using "monolithic" correctly anyway. "monolithic" refers to how something is built. you want to be using "homogeneous". that word more correctly express the quality you're trying to apply... i.e., that all Broncos fans be identical and invariant in their thinking.

What is Monolithic Thinking?

Eh I guess I see your point. But Denver knows their QB won't turn it over and will make plays. So I think players in Denver get to sigh a big sigh of relief. Cutler is good but so is Orton and all he does is win. Difference is Orton makes the smart play. Cutler doesnt'..... Can't argue that.

Good for you but you call us out for trashing Cutler then expect some sort of special treatment? Wrong sir so you go ahead and SHUT IT. I don't care what you spent call me out I will call you out. Either take it and laugh like most others do or ignore me and STFU.....

Almost as fun as watching you swallow Jay's man seeds. What did he have for dinner? Just curious, if Jay pulls off a 95 yd drive followed by a 98 yd drive like the superior Orton I will publicly proclaim my love for you! :)

Seriously dude! You're the epitome of a McDaniels Butt Snorkeler, surely you know what he has for dinner.....don't you?:approve:

Your Mother is a Bears Fans and she adores Cutler!Hilarious!

Oh, so it's okay for YOU to make fun of someone's mom. I see.

For the record, my mom is not a pro football fan. At all. She's a Michigan Wolverines fan. But doesn't care about the pros.

Excellent attempt at a burn, though.

No need to shout.

Oh he thinks he can run his mouth but heaven forbid he gets called on it. Pathetic really.
