Buckhalter says he is 90% and will definitely play against SD.

I thought Buckhalter was the better back until he was hurt. I'm coming around on Moreno but kid needs to learn to hold on to the rock! I think 50-50 split makes for a pretty good backfield.

I'm sure he's neckbeard-boated some tits.

(Sorry for derailing the thread btw)

Yup, i was one of the bucky booers. But i love what he has done here. And am dam glad he is back and ready to roll.

Knowshon is still my boy. But buck is just a whole other wrinkle that really helps us out. Great to have him back.

It depends on how he feels game time but I would still be very cautious to use Bucky when you have the bye week coming up right after the SD game. I can tell you this, I sure wouldn't start him and depending on how the game is going, I wouldn't eve use him unless we needed him. I would use Moreno, Hillis and Jordan and just let Bucky rest up. The last thing we want is getting our backs dinged up for the long haul.

Yep, we can afford to do that. I love it! I really wish they'd get Hillis more involved but he's helping move those guys along.

buckhalter is playing better than moreno, no question, though their roles are a bit diff, buck is getting the stretch plays and it seems moreno is getting the man plays. but morenos ceiling is clearly higher, and once he turns it on it will be no question whos better.

the kid never fumbled in college. he has that ability, it is just he is thinking too much in the pros. he hasn't gotten to the point where he just reads and reacts to the plays that are called. his brain is getting in the way. a few more weeks and he will be fine.

*miscellaneous reply about Knowshon Moreno having fumbling problems despite no historical evidence to back it up*

Almost every single free agent we've brought in has played a key role in our success.

Compare that with our FA track record over the past decade, and it's pretty impressive. Gaffney has been fantastic, and while people love to crap on Jordan for some reason... the guy has done nothing but accept his role and done what we've asked him to do.

Honestly... go through our FA acquisitions one by one, and look at what they've contributed. I don't think we've had this kind of FA period since Shanahan first came to Denver.
