There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge.

I agree. The guy's not even a very good actor. I've seen a fair number of people more messed up than that. He doesn't have it right.

Nowadays a good viral YouTube sensation is a quick way to fame and maybe fortune.

You can't blame them for trying :~ohyah!:

I really dont think its staged. Just the reaction of the store owners/ customers tells it all. I really dont see some shmoe going up to the old farts and saying, " hey, ya wanna be in my youtube video".
My favorite part is when he keeps grabbing at the phantom rail on the coffee counter.

Maybe, just maybe, the 'drunk' didn't let them in on the joke?

Oh I see your point of view. Maybe the shmoe owns the store too and has access to the security cams.... maybe, just maybe!

I'm not so sure. I've seen people this sloppy drunk. Usually it's a female that can't hold her liquor.

"Ah, devil ether. It makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue. The mind recoils in horror, unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interesting because you can actually watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it. You approach the turnstiles and know that when you get there, you have to give the man two dollars or he won't let you inside. But when you get there, everything goes wrong. Some angry rotarian shoves you and you think "What's happening here? What's going on?" And you hear yourself mumbling... Dogs ****ed the pope... no fault of mine"

I don't think he's drunk. He's either on ketamine or a lot of DXM.

Well, what we just witnessed was pre-peanut butter mock going through his rituals before going back on the computer for his nightly postings. What you miss is Beasley (or whatever his cat's name is) waiting to drive him home out in the parking lot.

Why would it take that long for the owner to react? 4 minutes at least b4 he came over to him? Liquor store owners hawk eye you right when you walk into their store let alone a total f 'd up dude struggling to walk. Cops would have been there lickity split to see this one. I like how fast he got up when the younger dude says something to the effect of, "Call the Cops!" What we didnt see was him walk casually to his car and drive away. Owner is way too old to know what You Tube is. Cameras are the best I have ever seen for a liquor store or even a bank. Thing was posted a week after the incident. I am a little bit of a skeptic on this one.

I'd like to know where that video was taken. The guy in it is an absolute dead ringer for a guy I've worked with and he was missing for a prolonged stretch exactly when the date stamp on that footage lists.

If it was a raiders fan after a loss, I dont buy it. He would have had an average of 13 of those during a 4 month period and he would be an alcoholic professional by now. Now if you said that was after a Raider win, I would buy it as he would be a beginner. The date says last week and we know it has been about 4 weeks since there last and possibly only win.

Yes i bumped my own post. :strong:
