I slept in a pair last night, and rocked them at the game today. Probably will sleep in them tonight as well.

A picture of those from the knee down would be a killer avatar.

I made a bet that if the Broncos won today, these would become the only kind of socks I masturbate with. Game on.

I like the old uni's. Nothing in the NFL comes close. They are so unique, we should rock them as our alternates.

I love it!

Yahoo has an article that the media has decided they are the most atrocious uni's ever.

I didn't think there was any way to make the socks look more ugly, but Gaffney managed to find a way.

The uni's when I first heard and saw the old pics had me ready to puke. On the field they actually looked pretty good. I still would of rather seen them rock the orange and blue D helmet from the 70's and 80's though. I liked the plain uni's though.

The full uniforms = horrible.

The striped socks = awesome!

Do they have individual holes for each toe? Cause that would be awesome.

Oh, come on. Really? Once was interesting, for lack of another, less flattering description. Can't we kind of make a progression; from the rather colorful display we saw today, to the caricature of the bucking Bronco, to my favorite; the 'D' helmet and ultimately back to the cyber horse I guess? My Dad told me the original uniforms were 'unique' and I had seen pictures of those stockings, but, wow, they kind of hurt the eyes.

The deal is that the two legacy games each AFL team has to play, one home one away. We have to wear our road legacy uni's next.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how that whole legacy thing was to play out. It is fun, but I would've thought the AFL teams would honor the entire AFL experience, that is, whatever uniform changes were made within that decade of existence. Guess not.

Thinking about getting a replica done up of old Frank Tripucka. You know how the NFLShop blocks former players from being used in these things? Somehow , Frank has managed to slip on by, no lie.

It's about the only non-"one time use" I could think of for any of this stuff.

It's funny, I noticed that and wondered WHAT was going on! I assumed the socks just twisted up as they played.

I dunno, they still look like choco banana taffy. And the refs were creamsicle orange taffy!!

Here's the simle explination:
Zebra stripes are there for Camouflage- to confuse predators when charging into a herd of zebras. The rapid movement of the black and white stripes somehow makes it harder for the predator to focus on just one animal, increasing the zebras' chances of getting away.

They should have "NFL FAN LEGENDS" day. No one gets in the stadium without wearing hideously wide brown and gold stripes. You can choose direction, horizontal or vertical. ;D
